A quick and simple remedy for error code E133

  • After working on a Baxi 600, Baxi 800 or Main Eco Compact combi boiler it is possible to forget to reconnect the electrode lead on to the PCB, which results in error code E133.
    In this #TrainingTuesday video, Baxi trainer Andy shows you the simple check and reconnection of the electrode lead on to the printed circuit board including the reset procedure.

    Baxi have done Andy a disservice in this video! I did the 3 day multimeter, diagnostic and fault finding course with Andy in Warrington at the end of May, he’s a fantastic trainer and taught us all a hell of a lot and helped me personally, massively. Very knowledgable man look forward to returning for future training 👍🏻🔧🔥

    Mine had 133 on new boiler
    Pressed reset ....worked ...
    No other actions were required....just the reset .....why?

    Hello, What type of Allen key would you recommend for opening the two screws of ignition probe please? Hex Ball End, Flat Head, bolt head or box end ?

    In my case spark wire was bend , too far and condenser pipe was broken .

    That's it?!?! That's your help? The fault might have nothing to do with the fault and might be a faulty wire!!!! Wtf! That isnt gonna help me if ITS NOT A FAULTY CONNECTION. What a waste of a video.
