  • In this self help video we show you how to repressurise your boiler.
    You will see it is quite simple to top up the water pressure and after watching this video you should be able to do it yourself without having to call a heating engineer. It is normal to need to top up your boiler pressure once or twice a year. However, if your boiler keeps losing pressure, call a local Gas Safe registered engineer or Baxi Customer Support who will come and check your boiler system.

    Thank you, it looks a bit different underneath my boiler so I wasn't sure what to move, but then I noticed there were only 2 movable levers. I don't think the pressure is high enough still but I'm not going to mess around with it anymore, I'll try and remember to tell the service man about it when he next comes.

    For the rigid type of boiler , can I keep the first tab always on so that I never run out of hot water ?
    Thanks.

    Why don't you leave the brass corner piece on with the filling loop?

    • @TheUkdan02
      @TheUkdan02 Год назад

      Removing it prevents accidental over pressurisation I guess. If the tap is not fully off or there is a slight leak through the valve it will go into the system rather than being stopped by the end caps.

    At 4.52 what are the two black taps at the rear? And should they be on or off?

    Would no/low pressure cause water to stop flowing?

    • @TheUkdan02
      @TheUkdan02 Год назад +1

      You would get error E1 and the boiler would stop working to protect itself. You would still get water running through the taps but it wouldn't be heated. Central heating won't work at all.

    Our pressure has dropped. Why is that? We've only been at our new home for 3 weeks.
