Gareth Lewis - Cracked it - Well for now - Being Saturday evening at 1900 no way could I get hold of a new ignition plug, so I followed your advice, took it out (Along with the temp sensor at the other side which also looks like a spark plug) wire brushed em both, hoovered out both holes, refitted and BINGO, - We have ignition. I shall of course purchase a new pair this coming week and fit. Dead easy job. Thanks for your advice Gareth - Good of you

I have a Baxi Duotec 40 he, and have recently had this fault E133. .Suspiciously only in cold conditions.....My solution.(and also confirmed by local DIY shop(sells loads of pipe lagging this time of year, its a common fault))....lagged the condensate escape pipe......apparently they are known for freezing on the small outlet pipe (new ones have had design change).....total cost £4.99 cos i bought some cable ties as well.

I came her because I didn’t want to call a gas engineer 🤔.
Update: I changed the ignition plug in the front which fixed it. It cost £17 from Wolsey and was dead easy to change.
Turn power off on the wall.
Take off the front cover and it’s right in front of you, it looks like a spark plug & cap.
Pull cap off & earth lead then there’s a screw holding the plug in place.
I found out it’s a common problem on these boilers.

Surely your videos are to help people fix their problem and avoid paying for an engineer. But all you keep saying is call an engineer

My estate agents told me to look up this problem online but even after doing this, it's still not working. Trust this to happen when it's snowing heavily as well -_-
What I found in my customers case was rodents had chewed on the pressure hose that attaches to the gasvalve. Replaced the the chewed on hose and she fired right up. :)

I had this code come on last night but now it’s morning it’s working again. I THINK it might be down to the pipes being frozen, it’s was the coldest night of the year last night

@@ARBoilers Wasn't helpful to me either. If you read the notes on the boiler or in the user manual it tells you this! What causes the E133 fault, because my engineer seems to think its the condensation pipe split and I think he is wrong. I know it is gas supply error, but that could be caused by the igniter, flame detector or even the gas valve. What is the most common cause?

E125 Ive not seen before best check with Baxi tech
It might be a good idea to go into more detail since all of the info you gave is on the inside panel at the bottom. You’re an expert so I don’t doubt you know a lot, just go into a bit more detail to stop people having a go.

Hello, we have this problem daily it's obvious you have to reset it to get the boiler back on but how to fix it permanently? We have had the boiler serviced regularly, today even and it keeps happening. What we would like is a solution as to how to stop it happening.
It sounds like and PCB fault
Or gas valve, or fan depends on if you are getting flame or not,
