Thanks for that, I had not a clue, as my water was running cold, so took your advice and reset it, working fine, and I do not know a thing about boilers, heating so I would have been having a cold shower tomorrow!!!! So thanks again.

Replacing the board doesn't always fix E168. P.C.B is common but E168 can be indicating that there has been a previous fault of a different code that has not been fixed and is still undiagnosed, therefore E168 is displayed as a replacement code when a previous code has been cleared and it cant remember what the original code was. E168 can also be linked to most of the other components not operating or lacking electrical integrity.

Craig C thank you soooo much for this comment Craig! I am glad I came across it, having the E168 error code I was dreading paying a hefty bill for a new circuit board but I just tightened the pressure valves under boiler then bled all radiators, reset boiler and all is fixed! 😀😀😀😀

Oooo I got all excited that this might fix our problem. We had a gas engineer turn our boiler off and replace a part in the meter housing after we had a carbon monoxide alarm go off. Since that we’ve had the E168 error. Sadly can’t seem to clear it :(

Before you call out someone try switching
off/on the plug at the wall. That worked for me.

Great! Your boiler is not working. So call out a plumber. I knew that already. Video only shows a boilier with nothing wrong with it.

From what I've seen E168 is something to do with eh diverter valve not clicking over between heating and water.

This looks like the pcb if it's E168

If it's your own boiler you dont have to be gas safe registered but must be Competent, I hold all current ACS qualifications, dont have gas safe registrat6but can work on my own boiler

Yes just through parts at it. A let the customer foot the bill 🤠. It's good when you look at the installation manual and look up the fault code but you fail to detect the fault. Your videos are boring not creative and lack substance. What's funny is you who is putting newly qualified gas through their portfolios. Other qualified engineers and myself have helped dozens of trainees through their portfolios and yes with no charge.
