Paráda. Už sice RBR nehraji roky, ale občas zkouknu videa na youtubu. Je fakt, že jediné, co mi brání k vrácení se k RBR je zvuková složka hry. (stará grafika jde přehlédnout). Defaultní zvuky prostě trhají uši. Pokud takto bude znít motor ve hře, znovu instaluji. Díky a držím palce.

Integrace do hry už je téměř hotová a bude to znít tak, jak se autorovi zvuku podaří jej realisticky zpracovat... což není zase tak snadné, protože ne každý má pro to cit a umí vše potřebné. Ale díky FMODu už nikdo nebude limitován zastaralým originálním zvukovým enginem. Nahraju teď některý den onboard i20 R5, který je prvním hotovým FMOD rally zvukem a myslím, že jde o velmi znatelný posun oproti originálu :)
Thank you, it will be tricky to get some high quality audio samples to recreate the sounds precisely though. Hopefully some real drivers will record some if they are such kind O:)
Carlo is right :) Hopefully some talented modder will prepare Škoda R5 too, but it is little tricky to get proper sound samples from YT onboards... any ideas? :P Good luck in your next events, I am watching your results ;)

In my opinion, there will be some modders who will do nice things, and the Fabia R5 will be the priority :P This could be good for the onboard ruclips.net/video/Imqk5-MpQC4/видео.html , or apply some filter on external sample sounds. Will need to test with the new plugin ;)
@@carlocarusomusic I am sure many people will work on the sounds because FMOD Studio is very user-friendly once you understand the basics, but it also offers a lot of possibilities you need to know to produce good results... so I hope people will take their time and create also some high quality sounds. Finger crossed :) Once we figure out the optimal soundbank configuration & will be close to a final implementation, I will create some informational videos / tutorials to cover the basics so modders can at least avoid the most common mistakes.
All the events works, it is only matter of the correct implementation - the final version (a game plugin) is currently under the development. But it is already possible to work on the sounds and test everything in-game using this simple program. We are just having hard times to understand how all the sound parts needs to be processed to achieve such nice results like with your sounds :)
When this project is finished, it will be very easy to get the new sounds work for the end user - you will just place your sound file (soundbank which contains all the car's sounds) to the fmod-sounds folder and assign this soundbank to a car by your choice. The soundbank is then played & controlled using FMOD libraries, accordingly to the current telemetry / physics data.

I am not sure you can compare those, but I would put it among Reshade as it only puts some shaders onto the existing image, while FMOD can completely substitute / replace the original audio engine. It also offers many new possibilities like 7.1 surround, different sound from the front / behind the car etc. Now the quality will only depend on the modder's skills and won't be limited by the game!
@@isaacroc No, but it wouldn't work anyway, since it was just a testing version compatible with my first prototype implementation (before WorkerBee integrated FMOD to RBR via plugin). You would need to edit the original project in FMOD studio etc...
