- Just a few years ago, Darius Robinson was a backup player at Mizzou who had only played two years of high school football before becoming a 3 star recruit. Except, Robinson stayed put and started to shine in 2022 before Eliah Drinkwitz moved him to DE and he went off in 2023. After a huge season, he is now the fastest rising prospect in the 2023 NFL draft and he could even be a top ten pick, but how did this happen? Let's talk about the story of Darius Robinson, enjoy!

@@Kurisutofa22 Facts don’t have feelings, he had 7.5 sacks as a 5th year senior that’s horrible, I mean Terrell Suggs had 10 as a true freshman! He’s was 3rd to 4th round talent and they wasted a late first round pick on a average at best kid. 🤦🏻

This kid can do it all and he's built solid 💪!!!!
The Good : He has a hell of a first step, good swivel, good feet. He reminds me a bit of Von Miller at A&M and John Randle.
The Bad: He feasted a lot from really bad RB protection reads and using pure athleticism out of wide-9, both of which are going to get greatly diminished at the next level. I think he also needs to work on body control as he rolls in their like a hurricane and needs to be more focused. Another thing I noticed is he has a strong tendency to bite every time he was chance at the QB which in the intricate play-action of the NFL will have him getting smoked all day for breaking containment discipline. I would have also liked to see him do more interior stunts, split double teams, and just body OL (I don't think I saw a single OT pancake in his highlights).
Conclusion: Mid-Late first round for sure (15-32). Worse case scenario, he will probable be a pretty good 3rd or 4th down defender. He has the speed and bulk to make it work so the rest of it will really be up to him and the team he goes to.

Good luck to Brandon, but I'm confused how you think Brandon is better than Darius. Brandon played 5 years at Edge and only got 5 sacks his 5th year, whereas Darius had 8.5 sacks his 5th year in the SEC and only played edge 1yr.
