I read the civil war arc of this run back in high school and its one of my earliest memories reading a comic and getting super hype. Everyone knows Peter Parker is spider-man and he has to fight captain america and other heroes? Aunt May gets friggin shot? The tension and drama was like nectar for my teenage mind as things just went from bad to worse. Having read that in isolation I can't wait to revisit it when i check out this run in its entirety. Same goes for New Avengers as well, im curious how that weaves into Civil War and other comic runs.

New avengers holds up stronger. It's the after siege arcs that suffer haha
I really liked this whole run, the first Omni was better imo. The other story arc was really weird. Back in black was really cool though
I agree with this all! I think the other would been better half the issues and one writer!
