I’m glad the Fantastic Four is back on the map again, especially since becoming marvels punching bag the last few years with the movies & the bad comic runs.
Yeah I wouldn't say the books were bad - AKA Fraction, Zdarsky and Slott. They just weren't very good like we got before that with Hickman... I feel like Slott didn't have the ideas although he had some neat moments. I feel like that is what he has dissolved into. Couple that with Aaron shitting all over the Marvel Universe the past 10 years didn't help. Some of the events during this time were absolute garbage (with Empyre from Slott and Ewing being the first passable event since Siege for me - not amazing but OK to good and that's probably because Slott collaborated with Ewing and left Aaron out of it mostly more than anything else)...
I didn't expect to see Fantastic Four and Red Goblin on here, now i feel kind of bad for passing on em via "judging a book by its cover". Hearing you talk about them makes me want to check them out though. There's a lot of Marvel that i missed out on this year, its nice to see some unlikely contenders rise pretty high in the ranks.

Ive been loving the new Incredible Hulk series.
@@hopduncan7905 it's great!
Holy 💩, if Hulk is better than even Moon Knight, I'll need to check it out. Been on the fence about it, but you won me over!
It's soooo good. I hope you dig it!

Al Ewing is quickly becoming the Alan Moore of Marvel Comics with Immortal Hulk & Immortal Thor.
Def getting his fame off those Immortal lines. Hope he keeps making them haha.
I’d even throw in Morrison/Gaiemen, with his Ultimates and Defenders run talkin about Marvel Cosmology

Sadly I didn't make one last year. Just been swamped with things and didn't feel like I could make a proper list 😔
