This tutorial covers aspects of both the Mirage F1 CE and Mirage F1 EE.
    Reiver is terrible at French.
Reiver is not a hardcore milsim-er - he just likes playing the game well - if you're looking for something more authentic, please consult the flight manual.

Your love for the m2k caused me to play it again, and now it’s about to sell me on the F1. Thank you for reigniting my interest in French aviation!

Perhaps Dassault should pay me commission! 😀
You're welcome. I think, in DCS, it's easy to get dazzled by the Hornet, the Viper, the Tomcat and now the Strike Eagle so its why I decided to focus on the aircraft that I thought deserved some love too.

Wow I had no clue about ground speed indication being so accessible. Your AoA on rotation is also a very helpful detail. Sharing this with a friend of mine who has been suffering from tailstrikes so he can get some well-paced informational walkthroughs instead of just trial and error.

I actually find it quite a difficult rotation to get correct. I may need to play around with axis tuning some more.

Thanks! It's obviously just one of the default skins with some embellishments, but I quite like it.

Ok. Just started this one and another fawning comment - Putting labels over the controls being discussed is a, perhaps obvious but rarely done, wonderful way to teach. I was going through a certain channel’s video on the Viggen and by the time I’d worked out what control was being discussed, the narrator had moved on. I was neutral about the channel and I have learned some things but I’ve also wasted a lot of time and occasionally been led down the garden path, so this lack of concern for the viewer doesn’t give me positive feelings about the channel! I get the sense that they just produce videos to a schedule for the clicks and kudos, while quality is a secondary concern. I’d also rather not know about the politics of the tutor, especially when they appear to be a gamertard incel type. Anyway. I came to praise this channel, not bury that ‘other’ one 😺.
Just know I really appreciate the little touches like a line graphic around some controls while they’re being discussed. I’ve done a bit of editing for TVCs and latterly online marketing video, so I know these ‘little’ touches can often take the most effort.

Thank you for the feedback! I certainly do not want to produce videos for clicks - I want to make a quality product where the viewer actually learns something (I always say I don't make "how-to" videos, I make "learning" videos). It does take a long time to put my videos together but if community members are truly learning how to use an aircraft's systems by *developing an understanding* of them (not just which buttons to press) then I feel I've done what I set out to do.
