NEW DCS MIRAGE F1EE | The Multi-Role Mirage FIRST LOOK & Tutorial!

- This Video will introduce you to the differences and changes between the legacy Mirage F1CE and the new Mirage F1EE. Introduced into the Spanish Air Force in early 1982, the Mirage F1EE is the substantial increase in capability of the Mirage F1CE with many changes and additions to the aircraft and cockpit.
Upgrades to the Mirage F1EE include but are not limited to:
-Enhanced Cockpit Ergonomics
-Addition of an Inertial Navigation System or INS
-Addition of an Air to Air Refueling Probe at the cost of 300 lbs of internal fuel
-Addition of the Thompson AN/ALR-300 Radar Warning Receiver system
All of these enhancements and more all roll together to make the Mirage F1EE the best Mirage F1 variant yet, and allow the F1 pilot enhanced situational awareness thanks to the precise navigation thanks to the INS as well as the classification and prioritization of threats by the new RWR system.
The Mirage F1EE for DCS World is a massive leap over the F1CE, and if you have yet to take the plunge into learning the DCS Mirage F1 module, now is the best time to hop on in as newer and more capable versions of the aircraft come down the pipeline. Whether in a Cold War or Modern Mission or Server, I believe that the Mirage F1EE will become a DCS World Fan Favorite.

Hey guys! I am super thankful to Aerges for allowing me to show off the new Mirage F1EE to all of you! If you have not yet gotten into the DCS Mirage F1 module the EE and its capabilities and technological leap over the F1CE might make this a great time for you to hop on in!
Any idea when this is going to release?
So glad I picked up the Mirage F1, its my first jet in DCS, its been great. Also noticing that the cockpit is in English this time, mostly, will make things a little bit easier. I'm terrible at learning these modules, I can just about fly them but thats it... the rest is tough. The EE variant was a bigger change and upgrade than I imagined, I love it!
It is a pretty substantial upgrade that will make the jet a lot more popular!

This is really awesome, still love the RDAF theme, you should do that for the F-4E and F-15E tutorials when they are released, or a F-14A to F-14B, or F-4E to F-15E. Just saying... :P

Was trying to decide to buy or wait on the F1 but if the EE is that close to being done the yeah I think my choice made. Can't wait for the M and 2 seater.
Looking forward to the new RWR because the "Russian style" RWR of the Mirage F1C was the one thing I did not enjoy in the Mirage. So this looks like it might be my favourite cold war jet!
This RWR is a mid-late 90s upgrade, so not really cold war. There will be an option to keep the original RWR in the F1EE so that you can do proper cold war scenarios with it.
@@Lemard77 Good to know developers are adding an option to keep original RWR to be able to fly in Cold War settings as well!
I've just got the F1 - needing to look at my right knee to check the RWR was really irritating!

Very nice video! Are you using VR/TrackIR? the head movements are very smooth,as opposed to other DCS channels which make me dizzy sometimes.
Is the radar hood removed on the EE by default?
I cant get ride of the sun shade like the ce any clues?

Unlike the Spanish Airforce variant Mirage-F1CE, the BVR missile Super Matra 530F was available already in the year 1978 ( for the Mirage-F1C of the French Air Force and whoever interested ). I wonder whether AERGES allows the use of the Super Matra 530F with the Mirage-F1CE too.

As it's Mulltirole: What modes of A2G delivery will it get?
Nothing, manual bombing just as before. According to some guys on the forums, while it may be seen as multirole, it really was used as a dedicated air to air asset by the Spanish Air Force back in the day.

So it’s opposite of most western RWR where the biggest threat is closest to the center of the scope?
It seems so. That's why there's no center dot while there are notches all around the circle to indicate more precisely the direction they're coming towards I assume.

COOL VID! I just have to ask though. Isn't that a KC-135 instead of a KC-707, or did Boeing offer a conversion of old airliners. Wouldn't surprise me if they did, but never heard of a KC-707 before
It was just a KC-135 cosplaying as a KC-707.

Like its sibling, the commercial Boeing 707 jet airliner, the KC-135 was derived from the Boeing 367-80 jet transport "proof of concept" demonstrator, which was commonly called the "Dash-80". The KC-135 is similar in appearance to the 707, but has a narrower fuselage and is shorter than the 707. The KC-135 predates the 707, and is structurally quite different from the civilian airliner. I would really like to see also Raphale in dcs, it is very beatiful plane also (or mirage isnt so beatiful afterall imho, but thats another case) . Do you ever wonder that is it just a coinsidence that Gripen, Eurofighter and Raphale looks very much same. No it is not actually.. :)

Looking forward to that. The RWR will definitely be a big help for BVR, as the S530F’s range exceeds that of the pilot’s ability to VID, and since the radar can’t IFF, the RWR may be of some help to ID a target. Of course that isn’t at all safe if you have more than one radar contact, and only works in a head-on, but better than nothing for sure.

Is this a separate module to the CE?
No. If you've got the CE this will be included along with all the versions that are coming.

@@spaceduck2130 No. If you buy the CE you get all of the modules included so CE,EE,BE and M. In the store it’s more marketed towards it being the Mirage F1 and it including all of the above rather than it being referred to as the CE. So you need to buy the F1 in the store and you’ll get all of these as they come out. Just the twin seat BE and M to come down the road as we now have the CE and EE. It’s like the Heatblur F-14. You get the A models and also the B for the single price.
Hope that makes sense.

idk why everyone keeps saying its "multi-role"... it isnt... no more than the CE atleast
At the time it was built and delivered in 1982, Dassault Aviation marketed the F1E as multirole due to its ability to navigate on its own, not tied to any ground based radio nav aids and or GCI thanks to its new INS system and enhanced radar, cockpit and RWR system. Multi-role is a loaded term and has meant different things to different entities over the years

But the EE is sightly more “all weather” due to the INS.
But I wouldn’t say the CE isn’t multi role. And it feel disingenuous to highlight the EE as a multi role when it’s actual capability is practically identical.

Jesus, you’re making me feel old. The style is more suited to a 1938 WWII training film rather than a 1982 training film. I was born in 1980, and I’m pretty sure we had colour and Beta max at the very least….
