It’s a great thing to see again this technical “how tos” on a per-plane video! I like a laugh every once in a while, and I enjoy the “silly” videos, but I really miss using your exhaustive and detailed videos te learn each aircraft. You have a very didactic way of presenting procedures. I hope there are more like this in the future… I understand your quarrel with ED, but this videos are for us, not for them. Thanks!
@@grimreapers Hello Cap, I'm a newbie to DCS and appreciate all of your video's. By these tutorials of the F1 I am a little confused what to by, the F1 or the Mirage 2000. Can you help me out it please?
Good morning from Nebraska, thanks for all your doing here Cap, gives us aviation/sim lovers some entertainment to look forward to almost daily. Even the informative and other sim/game vids are always fun.
I'm not sure your RWR description is correct. Should be, the bigger the threat (stronger the signal) the closer to the centre that a contact appears on the RWR.
Curious if pilots are required to turn off the radar before approaching the tankers. Gotta think you guys would have given the pilots of the tanker cancer after that refueling.
On the CE you just press the autopilot button in the cockpit, then select which mode you want. To deactivate it, you have to press the autopilot buttons in the cockpit so that all of the ones you were using turn red, then press the autopilot button on your HOTAS. It’s really finicky but it’s a good autopilot system. Miles better than the F-14…
Why aren’t Russian Air Defenses Intercepting HIMAR Rockets and If the U.S. decided to send ATACMS to Ukraine could Russian Air Defense shoot them down?
Please don't call the new missile the "supermatra", it's not called that, it was never called that by either pilots or manufacturers. It's the Matra (the brand name) Super 530 (the missile model)
at 6:40, I guess that this is what my old (British) teacher told me about France and how they are. They are using the so called FFL Logic. The Fucking French Logic... because that makes no sense at all....

Damn F-1 has taken half my DCS time since it came out, and now they make another? Thanks for the briefing. What a fun plane.
How you guys work all this stuff out is beyond me, it takes all my cognitive ability to get socks and pants on!
The Mirage F1 is just bonkers! What a delight! and now in EE with a very nice INS nav system! One of the true classics this plane.
So happy i bought the F1, its really fun and rewarding to fly, can't wait to fly the EE and try air refuel with it. And thanks for the video :D
Agree, genuinely good plane.

That’s a very French nose. Super sleek look!

The flickering on the INS numeric display is a nice effect.
Incredible work from this Spanish Studio. Thanks Aerges !
Great to see GR tutorials.
Thanks cap for doing these again.
Good to see a return to the tutorial!

Thanks Cap, for testing the RWR using the South Atlantic map .. I really enjoy this so scenic map 👍
Good teaching, as always!
Nice video, Cap!
Tornado had radar mode for the B/N to select a landmark and use it to update the WP/INS.
Nice.
Good video & explanations. Appreciated.

How long do we have to wait before we can finally use our own smart bombs without relying on a buddy laser?
I know you can change the "babe pic" in the A-4....I wonder if it is possible to change the UHF freq card to show the freqs assigned to the presets?
I'm not sure your RWR description is correct. Should be, the bigger the threat (stronger the signal) the closer to the centre that a contact appears on the RWR.
Currently on the EE definitely stronger signals further to the outside. May change later in release.
The further outside the symbol is, the more accurate you can determine the bearing to look for. That could be the reason for this logic?
do you have F1EE air to air weapons guide?
Curious if pilots are required to turn off the radar before approaching the tankers. Gotta think you guys would have given the pilots of the tanker cancer after that refueling.
I hate to get nerdy but I don't believe radar is ionizing radiation, so can't damage human DNA. Would still be un-pleasant though I imagine.
Can you not update/correct INS via TACAN no?
Can you go over the new way to activate the Autopilot in the CE and EE? I can't get them to work.

^^ I think you need to keep the button held while clicking on the mode?
@grimreapers I was told that Aerges changed the autopilot activation entirely. Nothing I do makes it work and I can't find any documentation.
@@rhysgoodman7628 Go do that and film it. That isn't working.

Hey cap I was wondering 2023 and beyond break down when ?
Oh man!
Why does RWR say 27 instead of 29 like the rest?
how do you remove the sun shade?
Putting the transfer pumps on a minute plus before refuelling would probably burn them out - they are cooled by the fuel.
@3:20 is the fuel quantity really reported in pounds?
No, it's Litres according to the manual. All the French aircraft use Litres. At least military ones anyway.
Copy thanks.
Where has RC gone?

Why aren’t Russian Air Defenses Intercepting HIMAR Rockets and If the U.S. decided to send ATACMS to Ukraine could Russian Air Defense shoot them down?
They can intercept Himars but they are overwhelmed by it anyway. 20 Himars are wrecking hard Russia's effort, ATACMS would be overkill.
