Yes i used to puch my head forward while singing high then i tried singing laying down nd i found out wgat was killing my singing it was tough to get used to a stable head but aftee 2 weeks i got it right
I've been practicing for 2 years to get my falsetto and it wasn't working well until I tried these execises. I'm a male singer aged 20 and I am a countertenor, now I can sing Soprano thanks for your help.
Freya, I have spent hours looking for instructions on how to find and practice falsetto. For all my life this has been something that has eluded me. After watching your video, for the first time in my life I have found my falsetto and believe with your tops and training, I'll ne able to do it well. Thank you soon much!
I started singing falsetto since I was 7 (cuz I grew up in a choir) without knowing it was a freaking falsetto. I'm probably an alien not having struggles on doing falsetto. UwU
You're so lucky. I used to be good in falsetto but one day i thought it was the wrong way to sing high note so i changed it now it's hard for me to do falsetto😭😭
Hello Freya. Really liked your channel and wanted to thank you for sharing so much knowledge through it. I'm from Brazil and South corner in a power metal band, where I am required to sing very high tones (D5, E5, F5, G5, A5) for someone male, even in head voice (although some of covers songs I sing to use falsetto in their original versions, but I'm not a fan of this effect in this music style), but their precise explanations help me to understand more deeply the mechanisms of production of the singing voice, including as a way to shape the songs I want to build one day. You know, I think singing is cool, but know what and how is singing is even better. Therefore, although not falsetto technique fan in my usual singing style (Metal and Hard), I found it very cool your video on the subject, therefore, understand the employee vocal scheme helps me know where I stand exactly when I compare techniques. And who knows, singing in another style someday , I can use it properly. Again, thank you for your videos.
+Tommy Vicente Oh, in addition ( so you do not think I'm virtuous or professional ) , the notes mentioned, A5, G5 , F5 and E5 are little used , usually at the end , choirs with loose notes, loose notes (like scream ) therefore build phrases (albeit with modifications of vowels ) in notes from E5 , F5 and above this is too complicated for me without the risk of losing the pitch (untune) or suffer from voice breaking , falling into falsetto involuntarily . Thank you.
Thankyou very much it really helped me i can sing but i can't do falsetto before but when i watch it,i really found my falsetto thankyou verymuch...😊😊😊
Thank you so much. I finally found my falsetto 😊😊 and I'm a high baritone with a developed falsetto so I could sing into a counter tenor range on falsetto but I always thought of it as head voice. Vocal range A2 A5 or C6
Thank you for these videos. I only started watching your videos in December when I made a non official New Year's resolution to polish my singing voice. Of all of the coaches on RUclips you've been the one I go to first because they cover so many bases and offer the most common sense explanations and exercises that I can relate to. I'm a baritone. I sing comfortably in roughly John Legend's register but with a tone and style that's closer to an unpolished (so far) Aaron Neville. Concerning my falsetto process, good news: I actually have one forming. On my third month of focused practice, I'm finally getting somewhat controlled sounds where there was just empty air. Bad News: It sounds like a scratchy Kermit the frog, if it's just one note or a run there's not much problems. But if I try to sing whole verses in it, I eventually start straining. Am I putting too much on myself too early? Or are there any exercises that teach my neck and throat to loosen up?
im trying to practice my falsettos because i can't reach high notes when singing withmy choirmates but it seems a little bit hard for me to reach higher notes, what should i do?
I'm not even trying to meatride my self but i sounded like i almost made an angel descend. Tysm for how to use that S Tier vocal effect and i'll be sure not to overuse it 😃😃
I don't know why this is making me laugh so much, but it is! Okay, but seriously, this seems helpful though and I am definitely going to try it. I think that learning to sing is just inherently fun. :)
Freya, I am a 30s aged male and have always had a potentially good singing voice, however never pursued it. My voice is therefore not free/unbound or practice in any way. I feel my falsetto range is limited. I can just about match the pitch of Jordan Knight in songs such as "If You Go Away Girl" by New Kids on the Block. I feel this is a good practice song due to it's timing, composure and range - yet not too extreme or involving any compression so the singing is clean. My main issue is some of the notes I cannot quite reach and on the ones I can, it's a bit wobbly and I am often unsure of myself. Oddly when I sing along to the music I perform better then without it. Can you provide any tips how I could do better on basic songs such as this?
i can perfectly do falsetto before cause im a choir member (soprano) but now suddenly, i lost my falsetto? Like its just air thats coming out. Im kinda sad :( can u explain what is happening? And any advice?
I've been singing falsetto perfectly without even knowing what it is First time ever heard of falsetto when i clicked this vid God im natural is that weird
idk wat happened to the other ppl in the comments, but this vid actually helped me! maybe looking at head voice would help u guys, cuz falsetto and head voice sound quite similar and u might be doing head voice accidentally instead
how to know what kind of singing voice you actually have? And what if you have breathing problems like either your nose or lungs? Funny but I can do some kind of opera thing Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lol.
When I do that sounds seems to be stuck in my ears, like the same feeling when u are yawning and talking at the same time, is that suppose to be the case?
holy s*** i just hit notes i could never imagine hitting, or atleast high notes were easier and softer. Thank you very much, my first experience with falsetto was this time, but made me a little lightheaded, ill need to practice a bit more if i want to get good at it.
i am a guy but i don’t have a girly voice but i can reach up to a B5 belt and my low is B2. my comfortable range is E5. in my falsetto i can go up to F5 - F#6 and my whistle is C6 - E7

GiveOrLooseIt how many years did you practice to say that?
Can you explain me the classification of the notes please?
Jade Fo hey man, bit late but get a piano, even an app on your phone, and match the tone of the note you’re playing. Thats what they’re doing

could you please tell us how to get that transition? what's the correct technique behind it?
Kshitij Bhargava I think it just takes practice and time. Take it slowly then you'll adjust to doing this transition.
