That dream with Sammy Hagar happened to me too. My Dream went like this: I was standing in my Grandma's Bedroom(she was in the hospital at that time, laying in a coma with no chance of waking up again) and she was laying in her bed, i said to her; "can you hear me? can you see me?" she answered "Yes, of course but I'm tired, I must go to sleep now." so I wished her good night and told her that I loved her, gave her a hug and went outside. Man, it is hard to accept that Sammy is 70 years old. The man doesn't age like the most of us. If you showed a picture of him to someone that doesn't know who he is and asked them to guess his age, I figure that they would say 50 or so. But more important than his 'looks', the man's voice hasn't considerably dropped off as so many other singers have had to deal with. After 50 or so, most singers' voices start to suffer and they have to change the key of their signature tunes. But Sammy's voice has stayed amazing. Sure, he has to change the key on some of his numbers, but not to the point of guys like Paul Stanley, where as it sounds like the act of singing is actually painful. ....I don't need to mention this phenomenon with Rob Halford. hehe. Like Dio, Rob's voice has stayed freaking impeccable. Another dude with this same gift is Bruce Dickenson. Their voices are like fine wine that gets better with time. Rock on fellas.
The Priest had to change the key to "Blood Red Skies" to a lower one in concert, because of Rob simply not being able to hit those high notes anymore. It is one of my favorite JP songs.

Hard to believe that Sammy is a multi millionaire (worth about $200 million) when you look at how he is dressed in this video lol. What a down to earth, humble guy!
I can relate to Sammy's story about his father. I was visiting a Buddhist temple in the mountains in Japan and admiring the beauty. I noticed an old monk staring at me. I acknowledged him and he approached me. He said to me, in Japanese, 'Call your mother. Your father is gravely ill'. He was so earnest about it that when I went back to my hotel the first thing I did was to call my mom. That's when I found out my father had a massive heart attack and had passed away a few hours earlier. It shook me to my core. I was visiting a temple I had never been to, nobody knew me or that I spoke Japanese, yet this monk knew to tell me that my father was gravely ill. An experience that I will never forget.
First JP song I heard was Victim of changes live from Unleashed in the East....was BLOWN AWAY First Sammy Hagar convert I saw was in Austin in 1982....BLEW US AWAY !!!!!
Rob Halford 🤘 When Rob was talking about guitarist’s who sing & play such as James Hetfield he’s so right & it blows my mind when a musician can play & sing that kind of demanding hard fast music. Dave Mustaine is another guitarist who blows my mind while doing both.
TheSpiffyPuppet I'll tell you a fact about Steve . on the no prayer for the dying tour at the end when they all throw out guitar picks and their wristbands Steve took one of Nicko's drum sticks and practically handed to my friend ( a girl) as the lights went up anf we were leaving a dude with a whole bunch of VIP lanyards came up and said " Steve Harris would like you to come back stage " and she said NO 👎 .... Joseph Marrero only if they’re nekkid... 🤣🤣🤣
2 of my favorite singers and a great interview.
Hard to believe that Sammy is a multi millionaire (worth about $200 million) when you look at how he is dressed in this video lol. What a down to earth, humble guy!
Sammy is awesome, got to meet him in 2013 at Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp , got to play on stage with him also ,Great guy ,very humble.
Well it's only the insecure and the people without money who feel the need to impress
@@jasonkaraszkiewicz1025 Generalization.
How cool is this... Amazing... 2 Great Rockers I've loved since the 70's Thanks for sharing... I've seen them both a few times.. Awesome!!!
WOW
My two favorite hard rock and metal artists of all time!
Hi, I'm Rob Halford and I always wanted to play the guitar; but the beginning seemed so slow and frustrating...
Trekkie 135 *facial expression of confusion*
The Yousician advert?
Trekkie 135 hi I'm the Axe Man and I rock Detroit style.
Judas Priest the greatest opening band to ever play in america!
Two of my favorites for different reasons too
Two of the BEST vocalists ever; different genres love them both! Bad interviewer.
I was lucky enough to hang out with Rob a couple of times, nicest human ever. Would love to meet Sammy, never have.
Damn it Sammy looks good for his age
First JP song I heard was Victim of changes live from Unleashed in the East....was BLOWN AWAY
First Sammy Hagar convert I saw was in Austin in 1982....BLEW US AWAY !!!!!
Twister (not the board games) featuring Van Halan
Rob Halford 🤘 When Rob was talking about guitarist’s who sing & play such as James Hetfield he’s so right & it blows my mind when a musician can play & sing that kind of demanding hard fast music. Dave Mustaine is another guitarist who blows my mind while doing both.
"That´s the movie, not the game" What a nice dude Rob is
I need a Steve Harris fact or fiction!
Fact
If not 'Arry then Bruce!
True story I was there .
+Aaron Hilton dude that sucks
i have a fact. i caught Steves westham wrist band in chicago. that made me real happy cuz i was joking with my friends on the way to the concert, saying i aint leaving without steves wrist band.
I am SO loving this interview! One of my favorite interviews of all time!!!
