Cuban crab is not only to find on Guarma. You can find it in mainland.

Was able to scan the turtle and it registered but unable to kill it because I keep getting sniped

Did you have to study it? Was it added to the compendium?
yes, I've studied it. and strangely it was not added to it. I think it's a bug or something.

FPSkarma I found it too and it was not added to the compendium. I believe its treated like the “mangy” animals, probably cut content.
No. You _can_ study it, but there is no compendium entry for it (hence the "no info" in the video title.) The animal is essentially an Easter egg, probably stemming from cut content that R* or a developer decided not to cut completely.
Your decision to find and study or completely ignore the Green Turtle has absolutely no effect on any of your trophies or game completion stats. The only reason to study it is for your own satisfaction regarding having done it, knowing most people won't.
@@NickC_222 One year late but I think that Arthur draws the green turtle in his journal after you study it.

I've never even seen one of these on land, everyone I've seen that's studied it has just pointed at the water and got the prompt, I doubt it can even be skinned since it doesn't seem to go on land

Glitch their before chapter 5 and there will be no sniper

Normal gameplay. You can clearly see guards are hostile and the entire area is red/restricted. Also Arthur is wearing his castaway outfit.
This is crazy! I keep going through youtube videos and online information just to complete the animal guide. It sucks been on this island for 2 real days.....i read one comment on another video suggesting lobster...i personally haven't seen any. Been here forever.

all that you need on Guarma
the 3 native Guarma parrots = Blue & Yellow Macaw, Scarlet Macaw, Great Green Macaw,
the 4 native Guarma snakes = Sunglow Boa, Rainbow Boa, Red Boa, and Fer-De-Lance,
and lastly the other native Guarma bird = Red-Footed Booby.

ehm... what helped others and me is that i've tried to avoid the fallen trees because that is where the spawn point is of the other 3 snakes.
try to walk straight to the left after spawning to the 5 rocks while playing with the eagle eye.
if the ferdelance is not at the 5 rocks , try to go at the toad spawn. and if not there try the spawn from the 3 snakes.. still no ferdelance?.
rinse and repeat.welcome to limbo, i hope you'll get it. it's not easy that's for sure.

@@fpskarma8091 Luckily, the Fer-De-Lance is "NOT" Missable. You can find It in the epilogue around thieves landing I'm pretty sure. It isn't only on the island.
Don't worry about the Fer De Lance. You can find that in epilogue.

CenCal Stang no you do not. Fer de lance was a real pain to spot on guarma it took me 3/4 days in real life . It felt like limbo .

@@fpskarma8091 easiest way to find the fer de lance is you have to go where this guy is in the video and go to the sugar cane field and it pops up there
Fer de lance snake waa a bit tricky.. ended up skinning it while i was surrounded by guarma soldiers ghehe but it still counted as being skinned
@@fpskarma8091 you can find fer de lance snake near thieves landing you have a video where exactly sory for teelling now, im on guarma now and playng my 2nd playthrouhg time but this time to 100%

I don’t think you can kill it, I ran down the beach and shot right on the name indicator in the water and didn’t get a hit marker. Not 100% I hit it though. Then I died of course
njeah i think you can't kill it. I've tried to kill it as well with hitmarkers.
The reason you couldn’t kill it is because the shell, if you hit the head it dies
I killed it, can't skin it tho, maybe its because you have to get the carcass to land, but you will get sniped while trying...

You can kill it, but water messes up bullet trajectory. Get closer and make it go on surface. I did it.

Jleonardo is it possible to skin it? The green turtle? I spoke with rockstar support and somebody of them advise me to walk slowly towards it to study it in a deadzone while 6 soldiers shoot at you.. Rockstar support is drunk.
Berkay Yilmaz i've tried it without the glitch. Many times. And i do not intent to use the glitch. Did you manage to skin it? With or without the glitch?
FPSkarma I would normally glitch a game but the y could something with this in the future so I’m gonna go back and kill it.

No skinning and you can’t even pick it up. All you can do with the body is kick it
So i guess you need mods to keep the soldiers and snipers off you? The second i step foot inside the red areas im immediately sniped and set upon by 10 or more soldiers

because this doesnt really work without mods or some other kind of work around. Please go try standing on top of that building for as long as this guy did in normal gameplay. You absolutely cannot. you will die.
Lame that they don’t at least let you explore this place. I get New Austin since Arthur isn’t supposed to make it there.

People people! Listen to me you dont have to study,skin or track any of the Guarma animals to get the zoology trophy. Same thing with the Green Turtle. You dont need it. Plus the Green Turtle shouldn't be in the game at all. Since you cant skin it or kill it without a glitch ofcourse. And even if you study it nothing happens. Why? Because there is no place made for this particular animal. Same with the 1 bird that you are able to kill and find only in one mission as Arthur. In that mission you gotta kill all those birds.
Arthur still draws the turtle in his journal. Plenty of reason to study it.
@@magmion2783 Tell me one reason to study it other than just seeing its info. It doesnt count towards the Trophy and neither does it show up in the Animal Compendium.
@@tetrafuse3096 because some people want to get everything out of the game. I dont care what throphies you need to get for the compendium, if you havent seen/studied all the animals that can be studied, you have not completed the game :)
@@magmion2783 What? That makes as much sense as "if you havent 100% the game you havent completed it" lmao. Its just a green turtle that you cannot even kill Lol. It must be an animal that was cut from the game and mistakenly left there.
@@magmion2783 And in that case. You have not seen all the animals in RDR2 if you think the Green Turtle is the only rare animal in game. Theres a Shark too that you can *see* outside the guarma map.
I recently did the glitch to get to Guarma, I quickly realized this and quickly searched it up!
This is a waste of time and not needed for 💯 percent so who cares. Just content they forgot to cut from the journal and compendium when investors rushed them to release the game
Any1 knows how to get all the guarma animals in compendiun and leaving The Island with The guarma animals still in The compendium?
yes. If you've completed the story mission, use glitch to get back to guarma; don't use cheats, turn off auto save, then get animals and find a way to get killed...once you die you spawn back on the mainland shore of Lemoyne.

It was almost certainly something R* planned to remove from the game since its so difficult to find, but after removing the compendium entry the left the turtle as an Easter egg. Plenty of R* Easter eggs exist because of the decision to cut something incompletely like that.

if you are on Guarma , you can not miss where the location is. it is a small island

@@ElWeyChingon Back then, there weren't any invisible snipers, they got added because some people want to glitch into Guarma, which doesn't make any sense because it gives you no advantage.
@@ElWeyChingon its 2021, I just tried it and I got It without even getting on the building, i looked straight over the pen with the pigs and goat in and instantly spotted it without looking around and without becoming wanted
