Imagine if they found a way to just keep the story going, directly into the full story of RDR1 without you knowing in a seamless transition? There is SO MUCH LAND out there could have been used!
I've done this so many times it's crazy. First time I went to G was with John to complete my compendium. Other times was just for fun. Once my horse did that jump thing that horses does and throw me right in between the cracks of the glaciers and I could not get out. Another time the horse just launched me off from a mountain and killed me. One time I went really really far from Annesburg to the point where I met the ending of the map and let me tell you it was really far but things were really werid in those parts. There was water in really werid levels basically placed in squares and what you see infront of you is a normal dry land but once you get close enough all the sudden you get shot upwards on the surface of water. I really don't know how to describe it. I decided to jump off the map to see what happens and that was a huge mistake because I got stuck in a never ending falling animation.
@@Nylak-Otter He has a video on it, id watch it to know exactly the steps. But in short, you go to the top right edge on the guarma map, and start to swim over to saint denis, and drown yourself halfway, and then youll spawn in the normal world.

@@ohritz3939Did you? None of the missions took him much farther south than Beecher's Hope, aligning with his statement in RDR that he didn't travel South
Rockstar once intended Guarma to be a fully explorable place. You could take the boat in st denis to it and back for 100 bucks. It had its Own map and everything. Sad they scrapped it
They likely scraped some map off of guarma as well. It would've been cool if it was a fully explorable island, not just 1/10th of the island as walkable area.
@Why???? Could continue an existing character during the same time as John in RDR1 but Charles perspective or Sadies perspective. Obviously they'd never see John but they could read about him in a newspaper. Javier after he flees into Mexico. I would be interested in playing either of these characters and it would be even more awesome being able to do a three piece type of deal with some of them. Maybe even a three piece deal of Dutch, Bill, and Javier after what happens to Arthur. Showing how they decided to split and how they eventually turn into the people we see in RDR 1. Obviously the game would end with cutscenes of a next gen John Marston doing the dirty on them. It would show Dutch giving his line while thinking of Arthur as it then cuts to his face as he's falling and closing his eyes. Then in the epilogue you play as Dutch when he first meets Arthur, the epilogue missions are all of how Dutch meets every member and ends with him meeting Micah. Then you get to explore New Austin as Dutch and that's that.
@@robertsuppah8503 I'd rather play as Charles, could go a lot further with him after he goes to Canada etc. With Dutch, I already know the ending and know where he ends up. Plus I'd spend most of the game yeeting myself off a cliff.

The thing is, some of the map stuff that boarders the playable areas is beautiful, weird and interesting. There's a bunch of cacti near New Austin but on the out of bounds side - you clip through them as there's no collision but I swear they're higher quality versions of the cacti assets used in RDR1 because they look really, really similar, shape and texture wise.
When you get near Aguas Dulces, make a manual save point. If the invisible sniper starts shooting for some reason, reload that save point to deactivate the invisible sniper. Talking from my personal experience.
After your map changes to the map of guarma, you can also blow yourself up with a dynamite instead of riding all the way to Aguasdulces. You'll spawn near there immediately
I hope this is useful for everyone. I visited Guarma with Arthur in chapter 3, this worked perfectly for me and we are still in october 2024 (on PS4), I managed to get the turtle drawn in Arthurs diary, got all the animals in the compendium (The 3 snakes except for the fer de lance one that didnt spawn for me,but if it does, it should spawn on the cane field with the river on south (or on your right).and all the birds from the region). In my visit i got the sun hat from one of the two guards in between the little bridge in AguasDulces (these guards may wear a hat and will stand to a house during the day, if it doesnt spawn you need to re-enter AguasDulces and return to see if one of them wears it)but lost it, maybe because of the invisible sniper triggering after alerting the guards and this making the game think you are in chapter 5, idk, or maybe because of still being in chapter 3. *You can leave Guarma with a donkey(if your Horse despawned when dying, but will actually respawn back in Guarma when you get back to America, which is unfortunate. Then you have to cross the line where you can fall by jumping but, if you fall with your donkey or horse you might respawn on the other side where you wanted to jump but without the animal, so the only option from there is going on foot, you shall go to the upper line of Guarmas shape and then go north non stop, which takes you to the other side of the river in Saint Denis, you might find a boat near and try crossing the river, but eventually hit the border and drown, but respawning in the city, the foot method takes around 10 to 20 minutes to get from the place you can fall in the void to the river in Saint Denis. Ill edit the comment to let you know if i got the sun hat in my second visit there and if triggering the snipers means you cannot enter AguasDulces again.

I don´t recomend this, but if you really wanna go, make a save and turn off autosave, try not to get in conflits with the authorities, cause if you do, you´re gonna get stuck there even if you try replicate what he does on the video on how to get back. It is because the invisible sniper, it shots you from nearly everywhere, in recent versions, wich makes it impossible to go back. If you try do get the donkey (wich for me never spawned), you also will get shot, even you just go by the edge you still are gonna get shot. It ain´t worth in newer versions, you can basically get stuck in there, and i found this the hard way, and if you do it, and don´t have a single save, you are getting stuck there forever, there is no way to go back. Please like this comment so new people can see it before they make this mistake!

@ElizabethSEW I love exploring out of the map anyway so this was just a bonus 🤣 I’ve played online since it started and I guess it’s fun being able to explore a ‘new’ map freely haha x

That is how my granparents got to school every single day.
Same here bro
Did you manage to complete the compendium?
The horse “jump thing” is called bucking
How do you get back?
Damn bruh you know you don't need the animals on Guarma to complete the compendium.

For those of you saying that we can’t go out of the map and complaining I’m pretty sure they probably decided to scrap it because it would make no sense to have John go to Mexico before the first game

The actual explorable area is frigging massive!!!
Your entire guide is like a road trip! It's like Arthur's path to his redemption.
Rockstar once intended Guarma to be a fully explorable place. You could take the boat in st denis to it and back for 100 bucks.
It had its
Own map and everything. Sad they scrapped it
They likely scraped some map off of guarma as well. It would've been cool if it was a fully explorable island, not just 1/10th of the island as walkable area.
I'd pain the DLC ffs, pls Rockstar.
Plus I'd spend most of the game yeeting myself off a cliff.

i love how rockstar arent even trying to prevent something like this to happen. they have too many great skilled devs to make a code but they let that happen because they know and understand that gaming community love to find things like this
The thing is, some of the map stuff that boarders the playable areas is beautiful, weird and interesting. There's a bunch of cacti near New Austin but on the out of bounds side - you clip through them as there's no collision but I swear they're higher quality versions of the cacti assets used in RDR1 because they look really, really similar, shape and texture wise.
The gaming community? wtf. What a cringefest of a thing to say. 🤣🤦♂️
To get return just setup a camp from your satchel that's all you will be in the original map for sure
Doesn’t work sadly. Camping is disabled in guarma
When you get near Aguas Dulces, make a manual save point. If the invisible sniper starts shooting for some reason, reload that save point to deactivate the invisible sniper.
Talking from my personal experience.
wow, amazed at the amount of time spent to do this - bravo and ty
To who it matters, this method is patched. They now snipe you around the bottom of new austin.
Imagine discovering this not knowing what will happen in chapter 5

That horse hoped to never be tamed and went out the map, ended up making more road than most horses in map
this game is so great, even outside the map rockstar still decided to spawn many plants and some animals like it still part of the map
wow!
After your map changes to the map of guarma, you can also blow yourself up with a dynamite instead of riding all the way to Aguasdulces. You'll spawn near there immediately
Si te manda ahí, o te devuelve a strawberry?
This game is incredible. I play it for years now and I just recently started making my own content on the channel.

Made it and at first the sniper wasn't there but then suddenly he was and I couldn't explore. Not sure what happened but that sniper has killed me twice now. I did have a nice Nokota with me initially but it left with my first death. Thanks for the video!
Figured out what caused the snipers and after a reload was able to keep them from returning. Basically don’t kill the boars. You can kill the Big China safely but the boars will bring the sniper. Also don’t fall in the pit at the end of the stream.
Only works with Arthur, if you try with John Marston there is some sort of bounty on you. Yes I did everything correctly in the video as well
It wouldn't let me wake up out of bounds, kept making me wake up back at the entrance of the cave.

It proves how big the RDR2 map really is.

Damn. Gives a whole new definition to the "Wild West"

In the unrendered part of Guarma, if you happen to fall into black space for seeming eternity, you can actually still make it to Aguadulces by moving in that direction. It’s super tedious and the equivalent of walking there. But after all that riding, I forged ahead, swimming and falling in space. It turns red as you near actual, playable Guarma.
