The woman playing safiye sultan's role looks like a true sultana and of course the woman playing kosem sultan in the second season too. But berren saat(kosem sultan in first season) has ruined the first season.
Exactly beren sucked the life and energy out of Kösem and made this series so boring and lame. Meryem made people love that witch Hürrem with how good of an actress she is. If beren had acted Hürrem everyone would've hated her. Just shows how acting can change everything

Safiye murdered Kosem's father in an evil cat/mouse situation. If Kosem goes after Safiye, she has a very good reason to do so.

5:03 I felt so sad here. Kosem Hatun actually was the first to threaten a mother for a child's life in exchange for Safiye Sultana to leave the harem. Later Safiye Sultana just wanted to teach her a lesson how it is to threaten someone with their child's life by kidnapping Prince Mehmed inside the palace (idk why its called kidnapping when he was inside the palace...anyways). But Kosem of course being Kosem always wants to be the last to have the saying,threatened Safiye again.
The title of this series should be kidnapping and poison of the palace. Not MCkosem.
Safiye killed Kosem father for no reason if you are just here to hate Kosem without proper reason go away
