I think its so telling that when Hurrem was imprisoned, he commanded she be released without even asking why she'd been locked up. With Firuze, he went to speak to Hurrem on her own turf. He could have commanded her to come to him and explain, or had Firuze released and asked her to explain, but he went to Hurrem first. He was annoyed, but asked her why she'd done it. He didn't say how dare you etc. he just wanted to know why.

If she wasn't even Firuze as she claimed, her name instead was Hymera Hatun, why did she tattoo the symbol of the other dynasty on her neck? Regarding that she was well trained was that she admitted that she came from another royal family or dynasty ... hence she's well trained and educated .... not only at ottaman's harem but the Persian harem. Hence a princess. That really gives me the impression that she's planted as a spy too. Suleyman's not that stupid once the tattoo on the nape of her neck was exposed, knew that he'd been conned. Another thing was that I don't think suleyman had any sexual feelings for her. They had been together for a while but she was never pregnant. Suleyman had no love for Firuze. He did what he did to let Hurrem know that he was still in charge of their relationship and that she couldn’t manipulate him as easily as she had in the past. His being withFiruze was more about getting back at Hurrem and not loving Firuze.Suleyman knows there is no woman who loves him deeper or is more loyal to him than Hurrem but at times he has to show Hurrem that he is still in control of their relationship. Yes, Firuze was trained to spy and knew exactly what would grab Suleyman’s attention and ego. But she got cocky and didn’t realize that her relationship with Suleyman was just a game to him and a way of him keeping Hurrem in check. Firuze overestimated her importance to Suleyman.
