Solaar is only for Linux. The reason it exists is because Logitech doesn't make their official software for Linux. If you use Windows, you should probably just use Logitech's official software.

I just ordered mine from logitech and I kind of need it fast since my old mouse failed as well. How long did it take for yours to arrive from when you ordered?

I ordered it on May 9th and received it on May 13th, so five days (three of which were business days).
