Just watched this again. I am going to paint Wiggle Warts in the original transparent craw pattern. The top is a transparent deep oxide red over transparent olive green. I was concerned that those would be too opaque. This technique using random pattern stencils should give the results I’m looking for.

@@lureblanks I have a question for you. I use a Iwata Neo that came with .35 needle and nozzle. I found it clogs too easily so I bought a .5 nozzle and needle but the needle will not fit correctly all the way in the gun. Is it just not compatible?
@@scottm2244 where does the needle stop? does it block in front of the paint cup? Because there is a rubber ring there that tightens around your needle to make sure paint does not flow back into your airbrush. You will just need to push a little harder to get a 0.5 needle through the rubber ring. This might stretch the ring though and using the 0.35 might be difficult afterwards 👍

I’ve been wanting to paint and have tried painting atransparent lure with very poor results. The thinning and air pressure are tripping me up more than anything else. Your video helps (as always) and thanks for sharing and I look forward to the next one.

Thanks! Its a swedish one i once bought in a second hand store, but basically any encyclopedia on aquarium fish would/could work and inspire!
