Appreciate the comment!! Took many hours of workin indeed to paint this lure and then edit all the hours of footage into a watchable video that doesnt take for hours and makes even people with insomnia fall asleep 😂
Very helpful, thank you. I also love your choices for music, and the volume so that nothing is competing to get my attention-- it just blends perfectly.
Thank you so much! That is a beautiful compliment! As I always spent a lot of time looking for the right songs that put out the right vibe and fit in the situation, sometimes taking up hours just finding something that fits. I also love epic music and such and love to incorporate that in the last part when I show the result. Sometimes its almost like an action hero movie and might be over the top i dont know 😅 but i enjoy it and sometimes gives me goosebumps if the timing with the music is right and you can feel the heroism just bursting out of your screen. While it is just a lure beeing painted and showcased 😂 Thanks!
@@lureblanks I know exactly what you mean as I'm a documentary film maker. When you get that combo right of image and sound it's like BAM! So exciting. Keep up the good work. Maybe at some point you'll have time to make a short about your lures and the process of making them. That would be great to watch.
Wow, that just blew my mind 🤯! This kind of compliment coming from a real professional! You just made my day, heck my entire year! 😅 Thank you so much! 🙏
@@lureblanks You're very welcome. And I should clarify what I meant re: making a short about your process of making lures. Obviously, making lures is what your entire channel is about, but I envision you also showing how you make the blanks, voiceovers of how and why you started making lures in the first place, your vision for the future, the challenges of being in this industry, and lots of loving pan shots and action shots of the finished lures in action. This project would be quite an undertaking but self-enriching and enjoyable for those of us who follow your channel. Best wishes.
Great idea with washes, paper towels etc :) need to use more of these. Btw is there a difference between wash and just water color? Could you use water based paint in similar way? Keep up great work mate :)
Im not sure if there is a difference, I have never used water colors. If it activates again with water then your good to go! Being able to clean of the excess paint on top op the scales to brighten them again makes a big difference in results. Give it a shot! Make sure though to use transparent colors 👊
That looks amazing buddy is it for you or are you going to sell it? Can I just ask how you price your lures as I go by how long it took me to paint the lure and how difficult the pattern was. I've been using a lot of colour shifts recently but I've also been adding different coloured glitter and mica powders into the epoxy which really does take the lure to the next level.I know you are busy but do you have any plans to make another fishing video as I really enjoyed that and just goes to prove that your lures do catch fish. Looking forward to your next video, take care buddy.
Thank you! That lure went into my own collection. Putting a price tag on a handmade lure IS difficult. But you should never undersell yourself. I have made a video about it already so be sure to check that out: ruclips.net/video/fxNaz77aQfE/видео.html I will create some more fishing videos in the future. Right now all lakes are still frozen up here. :)
I have some lures with molded in scales and could never get a finish I liked. This will help immensely. Beautiful work. Thx
Hope it helped getting you the results you were looking for! 😊
I just got my bottle of Vallejo wash yesterday
Wow, this guy has put in some time. Then is nice enough to share with us, so we dont have to put in as much time. Much appreciated. 👍

Very interesting painting techniques. You almost don't even need to have an airbrush and still get amazing results!
Did´nt think of it that way but you are right! Indeed, it could be done without an airbrush 🌟 Thank you for the compliment!
Vary good information, looking forward to doing one myself
