Hey this song is about God telling you that he knows what you are going through and is right There with you you are not invisible to him. He knows everything you have done but doesn't care he loves you the way you are and wants you to accept his hand of friendship and love. We can't do it on our own but that's the point you don't have to God is there to help go through it with you. You can have that too! all you have to do is accept him. And he is faithful a just to forgive us and to become our heavenly father.
The music is really good- a lot to be gleaned from the words. I just want to say to you also- I was searching for the "Truth", meaning of life. I happen to utter the words "God take over". The next thing I was standing in the Presence of Jesus Christ. I can tell you - He is alive and real. I have walked with Him now since 1978. The BEST friend could ever know. You should call out to Him and see just how real He is.

Sadly, some people can't have those good lives that most people have. Remember, you are never invisible and you are always loved by someone. No matter what you are going through, don't let people mess with you and make you feel down. Those people who mess with you are those who need to learn to stop making people sad, suicidal, not confident, and not enjoy themselves and make them think that they are not worthy and they should not deserve to live. I thought nothing could make me feel emotion anymore. I spent so long crying and being depressed that I eventually just turned it all off. I was going through life feeling nothing. Then I heard this song and or the first time in a long time I started crying again. Nothing in my life has improved but this song, for the first time gave me hope that it would get better. Now i listen to it every night and it always makes me cry.
I'm sad to see that other people are suffering but I'm glad I'm not alone.

Saw them in Seattle in 2010. Great Band. Great Music to Worship God like music was originally intended ! 70 years old next year and I Love all music that Glorifies my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
No one should be invisible. No one should ever be beaten down or bullied. I have been suicidal since I was 6 years old. I even wanted to pour gasoline all over my body and if my bullies came around I wanted to strike a match and show them how much pain and agony that they caused me. I still have the scars in my heart and soul. People say that it is just a phase but what about if the phase becomes a reality and the kid or teenager dies from their own hand. Now is it still just a phase or is there really a problem? 5 out 10 teenagers or kids will experience cutting but 1 out of those kids will commit suicide. The bullies are gonna push over the edge and the next thing that they know the kid that they bullied killed themselves. I was going to do it and I still struggle with it even at 21 years of age. I feel for you guys who are in the same boat as me.😢😔❤

I had a friend that showed me this song, he told me to listen to it everytime i was upset and think of him saying it all to me, I have never been able to relate to a song as perfectly as this. I ended up pushing him away a year ago, and i still message him on facebook every so often, telling him i miss him, that i'm sorry, and that i still listen to this song every day. He reads them all, but never answers. If you ever find someone thats feels like this about you, don't you ever push them away, trust me, you will regret it...

I've always heard this songs first five seconds, and skipped over it. I love disciple, and I like to listen to specific songs. Since I met disciple, I met a friend of mine who is now my brother in arms. He struggles with seeing any worth in himself. He's found nothing but struggle in his life. Now I'm scrolling through google play, not finding the right song. Every song I listened to just... wasn't cutting it. Even the best ones I listen to on repeat all the time. But then this song comes up, and I cried. No matter how much you think you're not enough, or how much people dont see you, they dont see what I see. What god sees. And theres nothing you can do to change that. You're not invisible. Not to me. And definitely not to God.

It took me a while to realize that this is like God talking to you... "Nothing you have done can change how much I love you", is like a verse directly out of the bible. I can relate to this song on so many different levels.

"Invisible" is one of Disciple's greatest songs. After the death of my bassist this song dug deep into me, I was driving while listening and had to pull over. I was so caught up with these words any my emotions, the circumstances were aligned with the heart of this song. The fact that their lyrics are derived directly from the Bible is comforting. We all can use a little Jesus.
If there's one thing this song taught me, not everyone has suffered as I have (I'm a pretty chill dude though) but that doesn't mean they're as strong as I am. Just because my situation was so much worse is no reason to watch someone else suffer.
The other thing is, I found that more often than not, the people who truly are suffering are the 'invisible' ones.
Yup not ever1 is gonna understand the pain you feel everyone's different.

My boyfriend introduced me to disciple and well it wasn't this song but every time I listen to this song it gets to me.... I have a past that can relate to this song it its gives me the nostalgic feeling of my not so great past.. It doesn't hurt anymore though .... I mean it soothes me... but every time I would listen to this song I would cry my eyes out.I used to be antisocial and nobody paid any attention some days the teacher marked me absent because of how quit I was... and really this song is really the story of my past... It is a reminder that I over came the issues I had and I survived and got through :)
My teacher also marked me absent all the time. Not even the students noticed I was there. I overheard people say stuff like, "That emo kid hasn't been here for awhile" or the occasional, "probably at home cutting himself." I suppose I should be happy that they even knew "That emo kid" existed.
I honestly can't stand people who describe people like us in that form, or fashion. Most teachers need to start paying better attention. That statement mad about you cutting yourself , those people are absolutely repulsive. They frown upon some people like we are an entirely different species . I've heard some of the same stuff concerning myself and well I really hate it, people now just don't know how much words hurt. And words can scar a person for life so they really just need to watch what they say ._. It's quite upsetting.

To add my own short story, for a long time I had seen cutting as a way to numb the pain and hide from others. I was ‘fortunate’ enough to be able to use the ‘it was my cat’ excuse for a long time. When my boyfriend finally found out about it, he was clearly concerned, but nothing he said helped. It was only when my emotional big brother shared this song with me and told me about his life and experiences. To this day, this song makes me cry tears of joy and sadness at the same time to think that I nearly killed myself so many times and that if it weren’t for God using my brother to show me what I was really doing and how to stop I would probably be 6 feet under right now. Thank you Eric, for being there and listening to me rant all the time about my emotional and depressing life. Thank you, God for still caring.

Listen to the song, read the scripture they listed (Psalm 139:1-18), listen to the song again. This is an excellent way to study the bible... I only heard of this group today when i was searching concerts around where i live. They play the same day as Skillet at RTD. I'm definitely going this year!

( not gonna give much details about me) I used to be picked on by everyone and stabbed in the back by many friends had no confidence couldn't even look someone in the eye well talking to them. Until one day I started martial arts and it changed my life.
Same thing happened to me... Joining martial arts probably saved my life. My karate instructor is an amazing Christian and has helped me through a lot.

I feel invisible everywhere I go except my own home. It's gone to the point where I hate even being with people. It feels like they just don't give a crap. Even at both youth groups I go to. You can basically stand there the entire time and none of the students will talk to you. Only the adults will ever talk to you. I honestly wish I wasn't invisible

The first time i heard of this band, i was actually at YouthQuake and they were there, i got to meet them, and they sang this song. This and Dear X, You Dont Own Me, helped me SO MUCH. I love Disciple, they helped me realize im not alone, God is always with me, and helped me realize that with God, i can do anything, he can help me and pull me up. ♥Jesus♥Disciple♥
