Disciple is my all time favorite band. Just saw them for the 5th time at KCF last weekend. They never disappoint.

I saw them play this song in an up-close-and-personal music venue last summer. It was a pretty fantastic experience.

You say that this song consists of Bible verses? No it doesn't. Did you look up any of the versus? AndI'm not being sarcastic whatsoever I'm actually being sincere I promise. But did you look up any of the verses and the reason I ask is because they are giving Bible verses which is a good thing but they are not consistent with the verses of the song whatsoever. I understand like when it says I say goodbye as I turn the page I say goodbye that that means they are turning the way I suppose from their old waysbut a person that's not a Christian that hears this song can't differentiate whether it's heavy metal or whether it's Christian heavy metal which is utter confusion to that person.

I get the meaning and I get the verse of the Bible and the verse of the song. But a person that doesn't know any better doesn't understand itand therefore it's just another heavy metal song. I asked people this kind of question whenever you hear like chopped and screwed Christian rap music or heavy metal Christian music or whatever even R&B or whatever genre of music it is. If you are not mentioning God Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit or anyting to do with them then the song is in vain. Because you're taking a song like the Lauren daigle song where she says I love you, you are beautiful, you are everything to me, I love you from the first moment that I met you, you are my all, you complete me, without you I fall, and with you I am all"that sounds like a love song... It doesn't sound likeshe is praising or worshiping anyone but a man that she loves a person that hears this song on the radio and that's why it's played on mainstream radio is because you can't differentiate whether it's Christian or of the world. That's the problem with contemporary modern Christian music is because you can't tell whether it's of God or if it's of the world.

The verse that 3:38 says I say goodbye as I turn the page I say goodbye. I get it. They are saying they areputting away who they used to be by saying I say goodbye as I turn the page I say goodbye I get that.but a person that doesn't understand the bible really good or is a new Christian and they hear this type of lyric does not compare the two because of the type of music that it is. That's why Jesus said do not let your good be evil spoken of. I mean it's like the pastor Hillsong doing bumps of coke and taking shots of whiskey at a local bar with Justin Bieber. And then defending it by saying that he was there witnessingto the crowd like Jesus did at the parties... Yeah but Jesus wasn't snorting opium and taking shots of wine with the local tambourine players either. if the pastor of Hillsong was witnessing in the bar and talkin about Jesus Christ that's one thing but there's nothing like someone that actually knows a little bit about the Bible mixing that with alcohol because there's nothing worse than someone drunk quoting scripture lol

@@atvgbibleprophecywatch285 God said a friend unto the world is a enemy unto me. Oil and water does not mix. If you are of the world you were of the devil if you are of Christ you are of Christ. In other words the Bible specifically says and commands that you separate yourself from the world.
Think about this, if a person that's never heard the gospel before listens to this will they know the difference between this and just any other rock song? No they won't. It's Blasphemous because they take scripture and twist words to match scripture to fit their song. That's blasphemy because you're changing the definition of what it means. Revelation 22 said that you don't add to or take away from the Bible because if you do you'll have your name taken from the Lamb's Book of Life. Bottom line is, you separate yourself from the world.

I just saw them live in Leesburg, NJ March 6th.. I got Micah's pick when he threw it to the crowd.. They were at this small Church/Hall.. So I had the chance to talk to them, take pictures, got my CD and my pick signed..!! pretty cool.. they rocked out..!!

See, I like groups like Beartooth. The lead singer, Caleb Shomo, and possibly other band members are Christian, but they appeal to secular stations as well. Yet somehow, Caleb cries out to God and I still hear Beartooth on secular stations like Octane.
Yea. Lots of bands have christian members without affecting their lyrics. Like the band Icon For Hire, All the members are strong christians but not inherently a christian band their reason being "How can a band be christian, We as the members can but the band itself cannot"

Yes. They are Christian.. Kevin (Lead Singer) always preaches for 10 or 15 min during the band's concerts.
They confess Jesus as their Lord and Savior everywhere they go, and they encourage people to do the same.
