I am noticing our youth talking about being invisible or disappearing. Trust me, your going to be greatful later in life you were "invisible" Just ask yourself; Invisible to whom? It is absolutely ok to be invisible to the World. You need space to learn and grow. You cant do that displaying your life on social media. Grow up, succeed, and make mistakes in private. You dont want to be 25 and have your teen years questioned or criticized. Cancel culture is going to come back with a vengeance on the next generation. Dont give them anything to cancel you with. Youthful indiscretion is just that. Live on social and they will use your mistakes to hang you. Focus only on you and what you have control of. That is your mind, thoughts, and decisions. Use them wisely.

I lost my grandfather recently, and I had not one, but two, horrible mental breakdowns that led me into an Emergency Clinic, and then at a Psychiatric Ward. …The nurses and doctors all treated me with such tender kindness; I’ve always been emotionally sensitive, and I was psychologically abused as a teenager. …I remember at the Emergency Room, the nurses gave me a teddy bear that I named Tedzie… …When I had a seizure, a kind man who was a fellow patient caught me before I fell to the floor, and the doctors and nurses helped me through it. …This song helps me heal… …I almost lost my best friend forever; I took him for granted, but never again, will I EVER do such a thing.

The fact that they used verse from the Holy Bible to make a song, that’s true faith, Not only that, but they go crazy for Jesus, knowing that he’s listening to them, him hearing them that he’s the reason that we are happy

I rediscovered this song during a nostalgic binge and I want to cry out of a sense of loss yes but also our of a sense of gratitude for the faithfulness of God. In 2010 back in 7th and 8th grade I had a friend who was practically a sister to me. She struggled with depression and anxiety for much of her life and I would often talk to her when she was struggling with suicidal thoughts. my constant fear for her life often drove me to pray for her constantly, I was 12 at the time and this was what caused me to turn to the Lord more often and I learned to trust Him to protect her and save her through it all. I would often sing this song privately to God constantly on her behalf. Five years ago she killed herself. Although some will probably disagree with this, I know that she loved Jesus and He did not abandon her because God’s love is greater than our sin even the sin of suicide. I thank Christ for answering my prayer all those years ago to save my friend and I pray that by His grace I will see her again.

I so hope if I tour with Disciple that maybe Kevin Young might invite me to his house and have me as a guest on The Rebel Society Podcast.
