which is how it should be. When you are blatant and forced with the message you alienate listeners. For example, I am atheist and I listen to Skillet religiously. (ironic as it is)
besides from both business and religious standpoints subtlety is by far the best way to go. After all, whats going to spread easier turning people off with forced religious context? Or a widely branching net able to appeal to everyone.
Don't worry, I do not discriminate religion or faith of any kind. This was never my intent to be blatant about anything. And you're right, becoming all things to all people (a widely branching net able to appeal to everyone). I'm just trained to pick up lines that refer to scripture because I am a Christian. Other than that, I was just expressing my excitement for this band because I love their music. Nothing more, nothing less than that. If I have offended anyone without realizing it, then I apologize.

skillet is one of my favourite bands ever. I understand there a band that sings about God, and I like that, but I tend to take these lyrics in two ways. I like how you can take there songs in many ways, so everyone can enjoy them. You rock Skillet ^^

I'm an agnostic, I cling onto facts but songs like these... they need inspiration, faith and love. It gives me hope to think there might be a silent guardian out there watching over us.

This song is old. It was a song off their first album. I was still in my teens, I think I'm 32 now or I will be 32 in April. But the song came on when I was really struggling and sick from drugs, and it really brightened up my spirit and opened up me to a whole genre of music, including the gospel and believe it or not, this music helped me out a lot through my struggles of addiction.
Still probably their best song to this day.

I brought the Collide album before I fully became a christian and listened to it several times. When I had fully given my life to christ I listened to this song again and God gave me a vision of himself (Jesus) with his arms wide open and with a FIERCE look of love in his eyes. This has since became an anchor for my faith and whenever little doubts come into my head I remember this vision, God is good and his love for you is fierce and he just wants the best for you

I'm not christian, but Skillet is one of my favourite bands! I find it easy to apply these songs to other religions (like mine)) or even to ordinary people! you can "Save" people who are deeply depressed, just by showing interest in their well-being!! you don't NEED a miracle, you need to BE a Miracle!!
