After ending a relationship where I lost innocence, I found this song...think a year ago now; two years in July. I cried my eyes out because it was exactly what I needed. God is faithful.
I forgot about this song until now... i was remembering a time when I went to one of their concerts... it was an outdoor concert and I remembered them doing this song but i only remembered the part where it talked about the rain being like the tears of God... though the really weird thing about that concert that made me cry, was that it was raining but it only rained on this song... it literally started raining when the song began and ended when the song stopped... I will never forget that...
This song reminds me of my relationship with God, brings me to tears every time. I feel sorry for those who have not come to befriend God in their lifetime, but I will be standing with everybody and God welcoming those who will come to love God with open arms, man I can't wait for that gracious day (:

I'm agnostic, but i still enjoy listening to christian bands, because of the ambiguity in the lyrics. the song may be about god looking out for us, yet we are still able to interpret it and apply it to the various relationships we have in our lives, whether it be with parents, friends or your life partner.
I find it amazing that when I put this song on, instead of being cloudy and rainy, the sun shines. And when it says "I'll have my eyes on you after the world is no more" the sun shines even brighter. God is so good!

The truth is we never will be man you gotta stop seeing it as guilt and instead see it as just a knock on the door from a friend but your house is dirty and they want to come in. The good thing is your friend already knows your house is dirty and came over to help you clean it they arent there to judge you they are there because they want to help you so they can visit you more. When we realize God just wants to be your friend to be apart of your life to teach you what he knows so you dont make the mistakes others have or forget the mistakes you have already made so you dont repeat them and have a great life. He didnt create adam to judge or have people worship him he created him because he was lonely that is why he walked and talked with adam in the garden when he realized adam was also lonely because God was not on the same level as he was he created eve to be adams companion both equal but different. When you realize that you begin to realize all he wants is his friend back the same way you felt when you and a best friend you had in the past no longer hangout or talk like you used too you miss them. God created us in his image which to me doesn't mean we necessarily look like God but rather we have the same emotions. God gave you understanding who he is maybe you wont understand his motives or his plan but you can understand how he feels the same way he understands how you feel.
