Great Video, I sat in the same Seat on C-FITL from YYZ-LHR I thought it was brilliant especially on my way out, as I was traveling to Dallas Fort Worth and I managed to go through Pre - clearance US immigration it took less than 5 minutes! Much better than flying direct to US from London at least!
These new seats are much improved over the older pod/coffin seats.

That cover goes over the seat, and the other one is a blanket
I have used Air Canada business several times. The longer flights are better value all round. YYZ to HND or TLV allow for a decent 5hr sleep to test out the great flat beds. The food in the Signature Lounge at Pearson is fantastic, very similar in quality to the flight itself. Excellent honest report and great idea about sanitary wipes. Very cute reporter too!! Thanks for YouTubing....
Hi. It seems like legs go under the tv while you sleep.. Is there enough space to raise knees under the tv
@@dewdropk-dl5tv I am 6 feet tall and I can sleep on my side with my legs extended provided I bed my knees, which is a normal way to sleep for me anyway. While seated there is so much room that raising your knees is no problem. The seat moves to the the desired position and is very comfortable.
I don’t think plane seats are cleaned as thoroughly as they should so it’s a good idea you brought some wipes. Love the level of detail in this report. Awesome vid! ☺️
I do appreciate the seat cleaning as well. Though I found it funny you were later in the bathroom with no shoes on hah!

yeah, been in economy on same route, not even a comparison to be had!! looked clean, efficient and not economy meals replated, so win all round!
Great review thank you. I found it interesting they didn’t allow you into the signature lounge because you used miles to buy your tickets. I think that is wrong as you earned those miles. We are travelling on the same plane from Sydney to Vancouver in business. Row 5. Did you like where you sat or would you prefer to be at the front?
I have been on air Canada business class a few times, but rarely paid for.full fare (either points plus add on fee or bumped up due to oversold seats in premium economy). overall I think they have very decent product, but for yyz to fra normally it's 2200 Canadian one way, I wouldn't say it's worth the money though. good you could use your points to enjoy it.

it's very important for you to know: Because we are based in Germany, we have to adhere to German laws. Whenever anything is sponsored, we have to say this in the first 30 seconds of the video and further, we have to show it in writing in the video. If you see nothing, the flight is payed by money or miles.

Yes u are right. I asked for slippers but they had none. So I used the socks from the Amenity Kit over mine. 😉😂

How were the FA on filming on the flight? Did they ask you questions or tell you not to? Just wondered how you got around this.

Hi Jazzy. I fly AC business and 1A is a non preferred seat. You do get served first, but a high traffic and noise area. I always choose the last seat 7K. Larger pod as you have no one behind you. It is the most desired seat for me.

I took an AirCanada 777-300 plane to Paris before and it’s a very noisy atmosphere inside.
Thanks for blocking people's faces - other bloggers don't realize how much of an invasion of privacy it is, when they are videotaping on flights. Great report, especially since Air Canada gets a very bad rap back home.

i don't feel comfortable flying. I am just happy to get from point a to b safely. I don't care about business class or any kind of class. I guess I am a classless person. An old hippy and we don't care. Do you get priority seating on a dingy in case the plane falls off the sky?
Of course you would be ordering from the German-language menu, but it would be nice to give us just a glance of the English version. I've now watched several of your videos, and it's surprising that the two of you don't each weigh 300 pounds with all the food you eat! Perhaps at home you have only salads. ;-)
Do you pay for WiFi in AC business class?
Yes I always bring dis-infecting wipes with me too, and the very first thing I do when I sit down, is to wipe everything down, the TV screen, the arm rest, all the buttons, the table, and the seatbelt buckle.

Generally, I enjoy watching your videos. Your detail is very good. Unfortunately when viewing on my telephone, I can't read the menus and such that you post on the side. Perhaps you could show them in full screen. I was a little disappointed in such a short review of the offerings in the Maple Leaf Lounge. It's one thing in general to post a review, and I've watched a lot of your videos, but you were especially extra prissy in this one. Perhaps you can turn that down just a little bit?

You guys should have went to the signature lounge instead of the maple leaf lounge.
As I mentioned it in my video: This flight was payed by miles and Air Canada doesn’t allow those tickets to access their signature lounge.
The Signature lounge is only available for full fare business class pax. When AC introduced Rouge Business class and AC Premium Economy they gave them access to the Maple Leaf Lounges which made the lounge very crowded in the international area at Pearson so AC added a 'premium/exclusive' lounge
We are paying for our flights Melbourne to New York via Vancouver. I will be interested is what lounges we can use in various cities.

You are right. I asked this here because I was interested in the opinion of the audience. Personally I don't use the whipes, although it's pretty dirty.

I’m going to have to say the maple leaf lounge food was horrid. The sausage and eggs were awful. I will never, no matter if I have a 24 hour layover or what eat anything at that airport....ever. Starbucks had gnats where their “fresh” bakery items were...and it is winter! No thank you, do better Canada!!!
Might just be me, but you come across as a little snobbish. I mean the information is great, just some of what you say comes across as someone looking down their nose at others. Like with the "oh, this sounds so much better in German." It's the same food no matter the language. That and the planes are cleaned every trip, they aren't going to leave the plane dirty..you'd know for a fact if they did. XD
