After flying to twenty-nine countries, mostly work related, I am now retired and looking to travel more for R&R. We are going to fly to Barcelona in order to catch our eleven day cruise. As I search the airfares for business class flights, I ran across Air Canada. Of all my flights through out the years I have never flown with this airline. However, after extensive research, I have found Air Canada's flight from Florida to Spain very inviting. Of course without question their price is very appealing as opposed to other main airlines in the USA. My only concern was the type of aircraft and the comforts afforded in business class service. Thanks to your video, which is one of the best reviews of any product I have ever seen, I am leaning towards Air Canada for our flight to Spain. Your video and narrative equality are unsurpassed from previous reviews I have seen regarding travel. Thank you for taking the time to deliver an excellent review.
I recently flew on Air Canada Express from Newark to Toronto and I had the similar breakfast meal which was quite filling and very delicious. Glad that I was able to relax and get some sleep in Toronto before I flew again to Ottawa in the Air Canada Rapidair.
Before covid, when flying YYZ-LHR, I purposely booked YVR-YYZ-LHR so that I can experience the car transfer service and Signature Lounge in YYZ (before YVR had one). Much to my disappointment after landing in YYZ, I did not get the car transfer even though I was a paid J passenger. Instead there was a concierge standing at the Jetbridge waiting for a Charles S******.
You got unlucky then. I think it depends on how many drivers are available. There tend to be more transfers early morning from what I know. I was flying YHZ-YYZ-LHR late March. I landed at 15:00 on that day, and I got the Porsche transfer, even though my ticket was an award J (Flexible Reward). It was during a downtime, and there were two drivers (rather than one) available when I was there. It's all about luck at the end of the day, it seems.
Seems like luck plays a big role! I had a different experience. I guess it depends on the number of available drivers. During my late March flight from YHZ-YYZ-LHR, landing at 15:00, I was pleasantly surprised to get the Porsche transfer with my award J (Flexible Reward) ticket from Express Parking. There were two drivers at that time, making it a smooth experience. It appears that timing and availability really shape the Express Parking experience - a bit of luck involved!
Nice! I booked a flexible reward business class for upcoming vacation. I believe this one comes with signature service. How did you get chauffeur service? Do you have to book it?
Can't wait. Experiencing this at the end of June. To bad you weren't going then also it'll be first time doing business class. Need guidance of dos and don'ts lol
How can u get in the Signature Suite when you are using Aeroplan points for Business Class? They told me I couldn't use it when I was in YVR for the flight to Syd and I was on Business (but upgraded using E-upgrades)
Not sure if you got an answer yet, but it has to be a Business Flexible ticket, E-Upgrades are excluded, Bid's are excluded, it has to be a Paid ticket or you redeem your points for a Business Flexible ticket. Hope that helps :)
I'm sorry, I"m getting confused. I've been checking different fares and I'm confused about Air Canada Business Class, First Class, Signature Class. Am I right to assume Air Canada has no First Class and their Business is Signature Class? Thank you!!
It's all about the price . I spend hours searching the vortex of the internet for the best deals . I reckon 150-200$/hour is my sweet spot for J fares, love to hear about your strategy to find great prices - and where the plastic omelette recipe can be found. So good. Did you know AC now sells it in economy class? I paid 20 bucks for one and was the happiest person at breakfast!
Nice one and well done. You make a pig look good, despite the weirdo and subjective lottery at YYZ for a Porsche gate transfer. My problem with AC, and why I won't willingly fly with them ever again is not the omelette. It's 2017 - and its SFO, twice within months. Canadian legislation does not allow the publication of the names of the cockpit crew in both instances (or any). I would always wonder if I'm stepping on board with any these incompetent imbeciles. Were they 'retired', 'disciplined' and are they still flying ? You can look them up, but it one case it was nearly, within seconds, the worst aviation accident, ever. Because of pilot error. Never gonna put me or my family in harms way, perceived or real. But I do congratulate you on having one of the better channels at 35k'. Well done mate.
Huge difference between the signature class and economy, which is pretty pathetic. I remember AC in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s and it was wonderful all round. Not anymore.
Flew Signature Business the other day, While it is confortable and all, the colour chosen is So bowring and industrial, Just me I like the seat, but def not the look of it, specially when you compare it with Qatar, Emirates, SQ etc
I hate to tell you all, he is selling this claimed premium Delila which are made in China with Chinese material. You just pay more for the same pillow directly from China
Terrible! Never ever fly Air Canada again. I am a Gold Star member flying business class and they treat you horrible. No access to the lounge and just unacceptable customer service!!!

Nice. I'm just starting to fly. Passport got 2 stamps on it lol
Really enjoy watching your aviation review videos! One of the best on RUclips
Cheers!

I won’t be surprised if one day RUclips mistakenly that sausage as “something else” lol
"I've had a fair bit to eat and dessert......" OMG
About to try the parsley omelette this Monday! Can't wait!!!
Is wifi included with ticket? Or did you have to purchase separately?

I laughed so hard when seeing the omelette for the second time 🤣🤣🤣 So much pain

@@lucasfriesen5596 All of them?? 😂

love that you love your food. I adore the signature lounge at Pearson, such a fab product. Thanks for the vid.
Quite a stomach you have Ricky!!
This omelette is everything.

I think it's bcuz he has the 25k Elite Status
@@ChooseMyNam I have 75K Status which is higher but still can't

What is your Vlog setup?

It seems they are serving meals by course. That’s a major improvement from my previous Business Class experiences.
You are living life to the fullest
The Signature Lounge in Pearson is excellent.
Another 5 star watch. But the thought that's on my mind is what shirt are you wearing? I love it
So….the price went up and absolutely nothing on board changed other than a few more drinks.
Well played Air Canada. You never stop with the surprises.

Looking very nice with your flight with Air Canada 🇨🇦.
Can you keep the amenity kit bag??
@v____l only bn in first class twice. Kept the contents left the bag. Smh
Whenever I watch these types of travel blogs, very “elite” sounding in dialogue and topics covered, I only hear and see “look at me, I have money.”
You have the best selection of flight videos without a doubt. Truly professional.
Appreciate it!
As long as they dont fix the tray table problem for side sleepers this is still a subpar product for me.
nice vid except Parsley is pronounced paar·slee instead of paar·zlee
It looks like the food, the design etc are from the 90s’ in Vancouver.
The amenity bag was the worst part For me. That bag and contents was so low quality.
The audio levels are all over the place on this video

I'd agree with this! Would love to see more colour in the next iteration of the cabin design
This.
I always feel like I’m at the dentist as it’s so sterile feeling.
which air canada you flying 😭😭😭
They finally added a hash brown to the omelette
You fly by grifting, right - get lost
How much did Justin pay you more the video? BTW. I'm an AC fan. Love your arrogance.
No Lie flat??

First
Another air canada video of yours, without the black guy , which is more enjoyable
Not a fan of that breakfast... I couldn't even cut through the chicken sausage... it rolled away...
Must be a typical annoying Tronoian. It's TORONTO
It's tronno
I would have liked this video slowed down, Ricky, stop talking so fast! I feel like this was so rushed and content was being jammed down my throat.
Talking so fast?! Where r u from? Just check out the speed settings to slow things down.
Bad take
…I typically set the playback speed at 1.5…lol

Yawn
Very tacky, very tacky.
Is it DHS Hurricane 3?
The "shitty" bag is "vegan".
