    I am so proud that Joe recognised the alleyway is more than a show garden. It's a legacy garden. To see the garden in full, click below or head to the description box and come behind the scenes and see the research and work that went into creating the garden.

    I love this Jason! And I agree with you that this effort is more than a 'show garden'. It's in fact a project that endures. Bravo and I can't wait to see the final install in its 'ginny' home😆

      Thank you man! This project hasn't been easy but I think the outcome outweighs the the struggle. I'm currently editing the reveal video.. it may be a whole hour, it's a beast but I think that you'll love the final result!

    Loved this garden and the coverage/interest it received. How are you? Messaged you a couple of times on various platforms. Found a couple of photos of you and larniegh snow fighting at warminster x

    Wish this could be in every Moss Side ginnel. It looks fantastic…well done. You’re so creative. ❤️. Just need to get the people to take a pride outside of their homes . People used to 🥲

      Thank you so much! There are lots of alleyways in Moss Side that are used in this way. However, they really struggle with funding and manpower to maintain them. It's a lot of work. I will try to do my best to figure out a way to help the different communities over the next few years

    • @TheJanc46
      @TheJanc46 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@CloudGardenerUK why do they need funding and manpower ? If you use it as “your” shared garden, (as many alleyways are now gated at either end)…. should be the responsibility of the tenants/owners to keep their surroundings looking lovely. 🤔imo.

      @TheJanc46 if you've watched the entire series.. I explain that one of the major issues is that these communities are transcient. People are not there long, student housing so properties are vacant for a few months, these alleys are normally in poorer areas so residents can't afford compost, plants etc and even at the relocation site, there are some people who are just not interested. They have specifically requested to not have any pots by their door which we have to respect.
      Gated alleys is a topic in the first relocation video but you have to fight for a while to get awarded a gate as local funding has run out. I'll try and make sure to discuss a lot of this in the upcoming videos and give you a tour of the some of the other nearby struggling alleys so you can see what I mean :)
