    This is just what I want from a gardening programme - the basics - not all designer based large gardens that cost huge amounts of money. Thank you so much

    Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. I do hope you’ll be inviting all your gardeners to film more shows? Adam has such a great way of teaching, I’ve learnt more from him & Carole Klyne , than I have all the other famous gardeners.
    I feel gardeners world has lost the aspect of teaching, and many people really miss that.
    Adams down to earth attitude and his passion of sharing his tips, really make for a gardening show you just don’t want to ever stop.
    I’m extremely surprised he’s not been given his own show yet. Alan titchmarsh should move over and let Adam teach the new gradeners everything thy need to know.

    Hi Adam, this was so interesting, you really just get down to the basic principles of the garden and growing fruit and veg.without all the hard sell. But knowing the absolute pleasure of just being you and playing in your patch brilliant stuff.
    Your little helper was great with the camera too.✋

    We built 4 raised beds according to your step by step guide. They turned out really well. Thanks for all the inspiration and passing on your knowledge, Adam.

    Last spring I decided to use the excess parsnip seed as a border edge. No annual flower seeds available easily. I sowed 3 or 4 together in groups 3 or 4 inches apart in a dampish area. Apart from thining them they performed with no attention from me. As I sowed them on unprepared ground I was amazed to find the vast majority hadn't forked. Elsewhere in an ex farmyard/track area, ie stony, I sowed in rows but failed to thin. A good weed suppressing edge. As I harvested, they were beautifully straight if too thin. Even where stones had impinged, the root had a flat indentation and had grown around it. Think I'll be sowing them there again, soil only prepared because the last lot have been removed. Thanks for your relaxed video.

    Fantastic , I have enjoyed watching your garden develop on GW but to have access to your vast veg growing experience is pure joy. Thank you for sharing your experience on RUclips. I also have problems with woolly hats covering my eyes, and I agree with Mrs Frost I like your hair longer🤣

  • @gwenscoble6229
    @gwenscoble6229 3 года назад

    With regard to your wooley hat, I turn up the back edge so there is a segment with 4 layers. This reduces the cap/cup size, adds weight at the back and allows you to push the hat closer to your neck. This works for me, thank you both for the video.

    Love interplanting, permaculture, guild planting, diversity, getting away from the row method, this year my beds will contain, some repellers, mulchers, pollinators, nitrogen fixers, etc. in each one.

    Hi Adam. I loved watching this. It was great to hear you chatting about the garden, and seed raising and it was interesting for oldies as well! Please can you give us the recipe for the curry sauce?! We're eating the last of our zucchinis here in NZ and needing something new! Cheers
