- I went to Dutch distributor Reference Sounds in Almere, the Netherlands, to hear the brand new Wilson Audio Alexx V. Please note that this video is not a review but an illustration of these speaker's beauty, as well as a bit of a showcase for the Reference Sounds demo room. If I’m not mistaken…the drivers used in this speaker system are Scanspeak…🎼👌🔊
I'm not sure if all the drivers are, but some are indeed sourced from ScanSpeak. The brand is widely used by many speaker manufacturers. One thing to note is that the Wilson drivers are made to spec. Another is that the drivers are only part of a speaker's success. The enclosure and the crossovers and the whole design are also huge factors. Just consider that the initial Porsche was made with VW parts and that Honda Formula 1 race cars have the same basic engine as an Accord.

Christiaan, it’s NOT Alexx 5 ..it‘s Alexx V …(V like victory or victim of consumption LOL) named after the material. After all it’s „only“ the second (slightly modified) version of the Alexx. You should know that already 🤭

Such hi end speakers why not use opus cablings system. It won't perform as it design.
