i appreciate the way you have found a way to share the crew experience, while still never showing the clients.. perfect balance. and perhaps the best marketing for a charter yacht i have ever seen.. well done to the drone guy.
Sooooo much better than dealing with the drama they show on Below Deck. I love seeing all of the inner workings on these yachts! Thank you so much for sharing the experiences with us! You are all great!
It's good to see this channel growing. It's obvious the captain is keeping a great balance of high morale, teamwork and also an ultra-luxury service mindset .
Are there other superyachts (40+m boats) with a RUclips channel? Apart from superyachtcaptain, It seems to be the only one. But I agree, this could become one of the best RUclips channels out there.
I like your content of showing the yacht, manoevering at anchorage and in harbours, some bts with the crew, explaining what the guests experience and a little bit of yacht spotting. And nice to know, that my Amazon prime fee is used to illuminate fish. 🥳
I am hooked from Nina the crew chef. Love how professional you and your crew are and keeping the privacy of your guest. Keep up the excellent work. These videos help me to unwind from a work day and the visuals are beautiful. As a Canadian the name is great our dollar coin is a Loonie representing the Loons found in our country.
Its great when Paul mentions other yachts, I'm sure you don't want to advertise for other charters but the drone flyovers with and hearing the captains appreciation of the nearby vessels is really cool. You can see his passion for superyachts.
Jared Watney started all this during his time on Arience, and M/Y Loon, its owner, the captain and all the crew have truly taken this to the next level. €4,500 in gratuities each is well spent. They deserve it. They are showing how deeply the crew care for their guests, to make sure they have the best time and comfort and an experience of a lifetime. My only question regarding this Charter is how little they utilized one of the best chefs anywhere, whether she is on land or floating.
Right?! If it weren't for her, I wouldn't haven't even had motor yacht Loon on my radar. I've been subscribed to her quite some time because she's way more than excellent!
It's true, he started doing the one thing that was so frowned upon for so long, yet with his little experience he managed to still promote the industry to the point that people are now becoming "influencers" within the industry which is both bad and good.
@@MyAlan999 The eggs looked delicious (not sure what torture you inflict on your scrambles but Nina's are on point) and if I had to guess, the guest ordered the bacon charred to oblivion.
Great video! I started watching since I subscribed to Nina’s channel. Very interesting to see how a true crew on a super yacht function. Wow, $4,500 tip, you guys earn it! It seems like if you are a moody person you would not last very long as a crew member. Impressed with how the captain likes to have a good time and joke around with the crew, but is also very professional. Thanks to the owner and crew for taking us along (great work videographer).
It works out as about a 15% gratuity so yeah, it sounds a lot until you remember just what they are paying for a perfect experience. There are a lot of yachts out there so when guests express a desire to return the next season you know they enjoyed their time aboard.
This is so much better to watch than that 'real life' superyacht show which showcases 10% work and 90% scripted drama, keep up the good work, and this longer more detailed format is great! Btw when stuck in Naples with bad weather I recommend doing the underground tunnel tour in the city, ow and the pizza there is just amazing
I love that you talk like you're on vacation. That must be a great atmosphere for your clients. They get the feeling ypu really enjoy your work. Thats what high class service is
This was probably one of my favorite episodes yet. Lots of variety and we enjoyed the behinds the scenes of the weather challenges and the provision runs! 👏
I have to give a shout out to Captain Paul, who is very professional but still very chill. Great job to this entire crew! I truly enjoyed this type of video showing a whole charter. You guys do an amazing job of showcasing the entire charter while keeping the guests privacy. Love, love, loved this video 😍😍😍
It must be hard for the guests to leave such an amazing boat/experience at the end of a charter. Do guests ever decide to extend the charter if the boat and crew are available?
I found your channel through Chef Nina! And I am so glad to have discovered it haha my life will never be the same again. I look forward to these videos!
Great video Blair, Captain Paul and crew your smashing it. Giving the Charter Guests the privacy they all deserve while still allowing us to seeing everything else. Love having Loon to keep us entertained on how a magnificent SuperYacht operates
i work on superyachts but my domain is sailing yachts. I can however confirm the authenticity of this. Really accurate representation of what its really like when youre in the thick of it on charter . And everything else as well really. Its really interesting to see how similar sailing yacht charters are to to motoryacht charters. I reckon the big difference is the volume of toys, watersports and cleaning which is replaced on sailing yachts with the challenge of sailing and all the difficulties and maintenance that come with that. cool insight !
Loving these videos. I sat here smiling the entire time but especially at that bomb run at night, "having" to go an hour, in the dark, at full send with a couple of mates, just to be able to deliver that extra oumph the next day, awesome. Then the day after going on the jetskis and doing the passage in them instead of loading/unloading, you could see their pearly whites for miles!
Well done Crew. In Canada we have a $1 coin with a Loon on it. Canadians just refer to the coin as a " Loonie ". So, Loon crew must also be "Loonies " Cheers from Toronto
Endless superlatives to this crew and producer of these videos. It's awesome to see that the crew is appreciated and treated so well, with the upmost respect. Speaking of appreciation, $4.5k gratuity per crew member? Totally awesome!!!
looks like you have a great crew who all get on. I see there are plenty of wind ups between the crew, always good for morale. You work hard and deserve the tips you get, long hours, at their beck and call. Totally deserved
👏 👏 This was Fantastic Loon Crew‼️ I loved doing the Amalfi coast with y’all ‼️ Beautifully done video and content on every level‼️I laughed out loud, was blown away with the beautiful scenery, enjoyed going along on the small boats, fun watching your genuine smiles plus the bonus new chicken joke for my grandkids 😂 Literally you nailed it‼️
I love the longer format of this one. Thanks for giving us a glimpse behind the scene. Having to adjust plans because of weather, the relationships you have with other yachts. Very cool video thank you
You know when I go out on my charter 🤔 I frow the tent into the tiny and go out in port philllip bay 🇦🇺 and have a wow of time. Then come home and watch your super yacht videos and see how I can improve 😂😂😂. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You have a great crew on board her . Captain & crew seem to be happy together . This is something that must make the experience Even more amazing for the guests . Wonderful to see ….
Brilliant as always. You can go as long as you like with the videos BTW. You have such a great bunch of guys working on board, I'm sure it's hard work but you make it seem like you are all enjoying life. That will translate well to your work and customer interaction.
Woow amazing video, so nice to re-live Capri and Amalfi coast from a super yacht perspective. So much more professional than us doing everything ourselves on a 17 meter sailing yacht. Nevertheless great inspirational stuff which certainly makes our sailing Petite Lune experience better. Thanks!
Props to the crew, Loon is a beautiful boat and I'm sure there are many others like it, but if I had the money for a charter main selling point for booking Loon would be its crew and level of service. Congrats, you managed to showcase it really well, starting the yt channel was a great move.
Another great episode from MY Loon. Well done to everyone. I personally like the longer episodes, imo it gives more depth and more insight. Thanks again.
Thanks for a lovely video, great to see all the decision making and the efforts you go to to give your guests a great experience, as always on the sea so much is determined by the weather :-)! Everyone seems happy, great drone flying and cinematography!
The Capri provision run was hilarious. Stuff Sean and the boys on a tender and fucking book it over at zero dark thirty to pick up tomatoes and biodegradable water. More videos of sanctioned shenanigans please! Also - LOVE the long form video, such a treat on Sunday night.
Having a crew skilled enough to handle things like personal training workouts, massages and the like can really make the difference between a botched day and a great day.
Great to see you guys debriefing the crew and giving positive feedback! I used to fly large bizjets (airbus) and always tried to have a little post charter roundup as well and give feedback from the clients to our crew. Sometimes the crew had feedback to me as well as they were the ones dealing more directly with the clients during the flights. Tip were regular and together with repeat business always a good sign! 👌🏼
WOW ! Awesome video, editing & drone footage Blair . Love seeing & hearing what the crew are doing . Captain Paul is a super cool boss . Mark (Toronto)
