Another fun video to make this week. Thank you, everyone, for watching and for all your support. Please remember that we are not professional actors and often only have a few seconds to do the takes. Please feel free to drop us a comment on things you would like us to show or explain how it works, and we'll add it to a future video. If you haven't already been to our Instagram @motoryachtloon Check it out for daily updates and previews of each week's video. Lastly, if you would like to charter Loon and meet all of us, please visit our website and drop us an email at www.yachtloon.com
You could do a day in the life of an engineer. I fully understand if the engineers are the most camera shy of the crew but maybe you could find a 2nd engineer or an ETO that isn't and document a typical workday for them. It would be interesting since that is the part guests never see and at the same time it is probably pretty easy to film without intruding on the guests which is probably the hardest part of making vlogs. Engineering watches, maintenance schedules, how/what the engineering department does during docking, tricks for keeping everything in working order and real emergencies like when an ice maker breaks down during charter.
Dear Captain, I have failed to find the video about the pool, which you mention and the beginning of this video. Any chance to get the link here (or perhaps adding it to the description)? Many thanks & Best regards, Yours truly, Me
The owner of this yacht needs to be congratulated for allowing staff to put these amazing videos up. Great initiative, amazing crew, great motivational factor for all of us to strive to achieve even greater success! Also few words about the crew from all these videos I watched: hard working, super professional yet normal down to earth people with a funny side to them! If I would have the cash to charter this yacht for a few days, I would honestly do it because of the staff! An absolute pleasure to watch them! Great job guys!
We're very lucky to be able to do this and showcase what we can do. Thank you for your support and amazing comment. On a charter yacht as important as the yacht is it's the crew that really make it a special experience for the guests - Captain Paul
@@motoryachtloonCaptain Paul, your crew has great respect for you it’s wonderful that you give them the freedom to be themselves on camera and then they try as hard as possible to please the guests because the guests are the ones that keep the Loons a profitable business.
A couple of questions for m/y Loon. How far in advance are you typically reserving? For either yacht. And do you have a yacht in the S.Pacific - Tuamotus, Society's?
Perhaps even an overview of the weekly or scheduled maintenance requirements of the beautiful ship and the support system involved during a charter to ensure rapid response in the event of a significant problem with the ship.
Loving all of the content and as an Australian it is even greater to watch but yes, would love to meet the engineers and see what the power unit of Loom is

Something I really liked this time. Was when the other boats gathered to pay respects for someone and the captain blew the horn to also pay respects was a very classy and real moment. I always believed that as someone who always wants respect that it equally important to also give it. Well done Sir. You are a great example of the true leader. Good travels Captain.

Love your videos, thought it was great seeing loon from the beginning when you first got her. Also love seeing the pilots (or pirates as we used to call them). I’d love to know more about the crew and Hierarchy; where the owner and brokers fit in and the crew; how long in the industry and duties onboard, what’s the difference between the purser and chief stew for example.
