@@marvindebot326495% of yachts are chartered for the sole reason of offsetting the cost of owning it. I’d assume Loon falls into the 95%, it’s a Personal Yacht thats Chartered when it’s not in usw by the owner

Hhyar - Indicates the current position (Come over hhyar)
Jum - A gymnasium
Hark - A long vigorous walk usually in the countryside.
Larn - Strong rope used to attach the boat to a dock
Yarh - To answer in the affirmative. Also used as punctuation in any group of sentences when explaining anything more complex than tying shoelaces.

Kotor is without doubt one of my favourite locations in the world( and with 74 countries under my belt I have a fairly large pool to pick from!). I actually jogged up that mountain 4 days after having a minor heart attack ( triggered by getting electrocuted). The better half was not happy when I returned to her down in the town and told her what I'd been up to.
I worked in security for 18 years and funnily enough when you've done so you find that you NEVER actually switch off. Walking down a street I'm constantly scanning for exit routes & casting an eye across the crowds. In a bar or restaurant I know how many people are there, where any concentrations are, who it would do well to keep a discreet eye on etc. Due to disability I had to stop that life 3 years ago & I still find myself doing all the above as it's engrained instinct for me. Kotor is so beautiful and chill that it is the only place I have been in over 20 years where in the evening of the 1st day I suddenly realised I hadn't been doing of it for several hours.
Also there's a disused nuclear sub base in one of the mountains of the bay. So it kinda gets a big bonus for that 😂
That's just not true, yugoslavia never had anything close to nuclear subs, it had only midget subs, and couple of small diesels, that weren't midget subs but were small coastal subs even for diesels, i see you've took on favourite serbian passtime - exaggeration and imagining fary tales and enemies to fight against.
Tell me why do you scan a restaurant like you're in some hostile country? I mean i was a soldier once, i was trained in such stuff, but never did i bring my ptsd in a restaurant, simply people don't kill each other for nothing here, not sure for montenegro, it's not as quiet as here regarding violence, but calmer than most parts of the world, relax and lose your attitude, you'll live longer if you relax a bit and forget the violence.

Let's just start with the fact I clearly said that Kotor, Montenegro was the one place I found myself NOT doing the whole constant assessment thing. Secondly whilst you are correct that "people don't kill each other for nothing" you seem to have some rose tinted glasses on regarding the ( sad) reality of mankind. History is littered with millions of examples of the victims loved ones feeling X person was killed for nothing whereas the perpetrator felt that their actions were very much valid & warranted. It literally happens to this day & will continue to do so so long as man is around to do it. Does it happen regularly in Montenegro nowadays. No & I didn't say it did and I'm just gonna straight out call you out on your own wilful ignorance about recent history in the region and the fact that you decided to be racist in your comment by making comments suggesting all Serbians are XYZ( FYI I'm not from the region at all). Now onto your restaurant trope. Yes no one has even set off a bomb, pulled a gun or bladed weapon and attempted to kill a person and/or everyone in a restaurant. That's NEVER happened, right, oh wait. Yes it has countless times. And there's this weird thing where when a large part of your life has often involved making sure that that doesn't happen to a client then it becomes a memory item ingrained into you. AGAIN though. Not only did I not say that I felt this was a likely event in Montenegro, I said the direct opposite.
And finally. I don't remember saying a thing about the Yugoslavian Navy, who you are right did not have nuclear subs. The bases were often used as 'hiding points' to escape western surveillance. If only there was some overarching super power in the region back in the last century who maintained a level of control over the, former, country and who also had nuclear subs they may need to hide from time to time.

As for submarines, nope, no nuclear submarines entered adiratic at all, it's too small and dangeroys for them, greece and italy are nato countries, albanians hated them more than anyone, and we wouldn't let them ourselves because militarily we were non aligned and letting russian navy do something would mean letting nato navy then too, please don't embarass yourself with such things, you obviously don't know history and don't understand geopolitics, adriatic, ionian and aegean were nato lakes since get go, and we weren't fond of russians either, we were "non aligned" but all our exercises and not just military, but civilian defenses and behind the lines organisations akin to projet gladeus in italy were for scenario of soviet invasion, not nato invasion, also border skermishes, happened with warsaw countries and albania only.

The other day was watching video of new chase boat.when I went to sleep that night I dreamed me an my sister was on your charter.But I ended u wakening myself up by laughing an holler ing so loud at myself playing on slide an other stuff .days later that dream pops in an I go to laughing at myself.I have watched yachting stuff for years never had so fun an funny dream.Sorry so long but had to-so you understand my heart full thanks for good time in dream.May you all so wake yourselves laughing.

We just got back from Croatia and Montenegro. Ston was our favorite. So incredible there. We did not travel in high style like you guys- but admired all the mega yachts:)

Im a yacht obsession! Have a 7.3 meter fishing sports boat 2 bed toilet shower grill fridge its a nice litte escape! And i have to say the amout of beauty in the area off 50 miles in Croatia is second to none! I no Greek islands and parts of Italy are stunning but the calm waters in those bays are just stunning! And your not burning fuel traveling longer distances so more time for guests to enjoy being at anchor just sublime! I have never been on a yacht but i would guess sleeping at anchor would be far more pleasant than docked! If its calm waters! You can wake up during night and just spend 30 mins taking in the peace and privacy and stare at the stars! Then wake up in morning to such tranquillity Croatia looks like the ultimate spot for yachting! I have not seen such beautiful destinations all in an area of 50 miles in my life! Holy Cow!!! Great video and look at a super yacht experience. I am 68 and mostly have done things that I love doing, i.e. living my best life ... maybe the first time I'd like a bit of a do-over ... not as a guest but as crew. I know crew works INCREDIBLY hard and long hours but love seeing the comradery and gorgeous locations! Blair, your content is no less stellar than Jared's. Love Jared's also :)

What kind of onboard security do you have (that can be discussed publicly) for 1) potential onboard/guest "indiscretions" and 2) external threats? Also, what kind of medical resources are onboard for guest or crew medical emergencies? Love the content, it's like watching your favorite TV series every week. Keep it up!!!

For security reasons, we can't discuss onboard security. Sorry.
All the crew have basic first aid training for medical resources, and Captain Paul and the officers have advanced medical and life-saving training until we can meet up with professional help. We also have a Telemed doctor service for major instances, which will help until professional help arrives.

It was for the frozen slushee machine in the beach club. If guests request a Pina Colada we make them from scratch. In the Caribbean we’ll send a deckie ashore to find a coconut 🥥

That was fun!!😂!..I loved Dubrovnik❤..during youth trip in..1988. Unfortunately return home suddenly there due to illness and death of my beloved grandfather. Later followed by the civil war there. Oh yes..a question...some of your guests are well known besides very rich and that also attracts the wrong people. Do you as crew also take care of their security or do the guests then bring their own bodyguards?

i thought yachts aren't supposed to have the same name, can you guys explain how there's 2 Loons active at the same time? Isn't that dangerous for confusion at customs and ports and ...everything?
Also, the concept of tandem charter is nuts ahah, 2 boats, 1 name, who even thought of that? the owners?
I enjoyed the weirdly ceremonial exchange of Mint for Parsley, felt like some ancient Balkan/mariner tradition being performed ahah
One is Loon, the other is Loon 180. However, ships can have the same name if their port of registry is different. So you can have two loons if one is registered in say, Bloody Bay and the other in Port Royal.

Welcome aboard! Yes, we've had kids as young as a few months onboard and have all the needed equipment. Often families will bring their nannies when the kids are young but the crew are great keeping kids busy and entertained all day

It has a net we put on when requested or in an area with jelly fish. Otherwise we leave it off 😁

Indeed it is. One of my favourite spots in the Med. We run in tropical environments (far north QLD) but I've seen the location on leave and it's a to-die-for spot even if it is somewhat short on palm trees. @@motoryachtloon

We use our anchor chains to keep us off the rocks
superyacht living feels more awesome if you have two divings a day. especially when you gettyng back to superyacht from deep and have something to discuss and selebrate with friends. kind of contrast shower. scary deep and awesome luxury, food, drinks etc😊
