This video we’ve been waiting a few weeks to put up now. I know a lot of people think we should have claimed salvage or taken the cash offered but next time it could be us in need of a hand. Out on the ocean everyone helps everyone (or at least should). We’re just happy we were in the right place with the ability to help save what I’m sure is this family pride and joy (along with averting an environmental disaster) Thanks for watching and we’ll see you next week 🛥️⛵️🥂🇮🇹
Claiming the vessel or taking $$$ would've soiled the act of helping, HELPING someone is NOT about gain...... it's about GIVING your time and effort, nothing less, nothing more. You did absolutely the right thing Capt. Respect
I confirm that they didn't even want the small reward I brought them! From the video it seems that I was naive but instead I have been going to sea for many years. Obviously it was an error of judgment on my part which, unfortunately, can happen even to the most experienced. But this is the way to go at sea. Thank you my guardian angels! But send me your address at least so I can have the pleasure of sending you a small gift!!
Thanks Paul, Tyler and Blair! The harbor was crowded and unfortunately 25 meters of chain on 5 meters of seabed were not enough! And I hadn't calculated the increase in the damn mistral! I was on land with friends and I struggled to recover the dinghy. And above all to turn it on! Luckily I saw my three guardian angels on board and I knew it was my lucky day! Thanks guys, great professionalism and friendliness. Please send me an address where I can send you a small gift! I've been following you all summer. Thanks again
Wow, I'm shocked that 5:1 scope wasn't enough in those conditions! I suppose with freeboard it's more like 4.5:1, but still, I figured that should hold in almost anything short of a gale. Hope the rest of the charter was alright! (or are you the owner?)
Capt you and your crew dropped everything to help save that sail boat, the rule of the Sea. Shows what a true Seaman and a great Captain you are. Well done. Well done LOON.
Never did I ever think I’d be this into a super yacht RUclips channel. You’re all just a fabulous crew, clearly good humans and a lot of fun. Thanks for these fab videos!
Sign of an expert seaman - even with all the demands of kitesurfing he can spot when something's wrong with *someone else's* vessel! Well done Capt Paul.
Great to see this! I am a sailor myself and no one wants this to see happening. Really well done guys! Great to see that the super yacht guys with their tide schedule are actually help to rescue a sailing yacht. Wish there were more of guys on the seas. Fair winds...
Not a mariner my self, but an aviator. I love watching the professionalism and excellent crew-y-ness. Great edits showing how well you all work together. Glad to say my crews are fun professionals as well!
So much fun watching a bunch of happy people doing super cool stuff!!! Beats the hell out of those "reality" yachting shows! Thank you and I look forward to more!
I thought that (the tour below) was a bit of 'due diligence' or safeguarding on their behalf in that he could have found a body or a medical emergency for all he knew. At first I thought the intrusion below was bad as he's filming inside someone's home but no, that's protecting everyone from theft accusations, etc. The lads did well. 👍 Any chance of a two week passage in the Med working my way as the rope inspector or on seagull watch? 🙂
The end of the last video ended with quite a cliffhanger! The captains of all the other ships there must have really not understood the situation as well as you did. Good job Captain Paul for the keen eye for spotting what's amiss out on the seas!
I like the feeling that you are creating with your content. So cool and professional at the same time. Very well done, and all of you are really looking like nice people. I want more of this.
I love that you take the time to tell us about other yatchs you guys encounter while chartering as well, always awesome to hear about other beautiful ships you’re surrounded by
Love the channel. I’ve been Marlin Fishing in the GBR off of Cairns AUS and Lizard Island since 1985 and we always have had a Mothership. Fortunately cell phones with cameras didn’t exist for several trips because, what happens of the reef stays on the reef. Always great crew and 1st class experience. Cheers 🥂
Finally……that was worth the wait on the rescue, lucky Italian. Rest of the vid was awesome and it’s cool Blair you have the others narrate at times. Bloopers at the end are great. Every vids getting better!
Nice one guys. True comradery to yachting life always looking out for each other. Love the way you are embracing each moment while giving your guests the time of their life's. One day when I'm older, the hope is to experience such a cool adventure. Oi Blair, wear the life jacket with pride nê, it's all about owning it like a boss... 😏
Great episode. Doing a tour of the drifting yacht was hilarious. I always think of MY Loon as a big boat, but next to that white behemoth she was looking a bit smallish.
Just loved it how after saving the sail boat you went and did a walk tour of the interior bad ass.. working my way to make some serious dough to book with you guys one day. Keep up the legendary work! ❤
Another great video for the books. Nice touch the tip meeting at the end. Gives a much more realistic insight than you know which program, even though the guests are not in sight. I never believed that rich guests eat only on board during a charter. They must like to eat off-board and here you hear Paul mentioning it. Maybe during the crossing, an overview can be given of numbers: how much gas Loon uses for its trip, what tasks are done as it probably differs from during the charter season and more. Oh yes, now my wife wants to iron the bedding too, thank you Maxime and team...
Great rescue guys. I rescued a sailboat in Bequai and received a nice bottle of Tequila for our trouble. Love to watch you all having fun. Will you be in St Lucia this winter. I will look for you there. My brother sold his yacht so I will be land based this year. Have a safe crossing. Thanks for the entertainment and laughs Cheers Tara😂
First I thought this was a (very well) constructed story, but I know such things happen regularly. Thanks for sharing this! Good Seamanship has always been a very important behavior, I really like to see how people help each other when I am on a sailing trip. Have much fun and good vibes in the caribbean islands season!
Great video! Thank you for sharing a bit of paradise with us. You're doing a good job on the yacht and creating a video, while looking and sounding good on top of that, which is nothing short of amazing!
I love to see a class act! Most people never see the true maritime community in action, you help NO MATTER what happens and never take anything for it.The crew makes the yacht, MY Loon rocks ( probably not. too many stabilizers, lol)
Hey the story u was speaking about in beckway in the Caribbean its st Vincent ........was looking at the news where the local think an saying its u guys is the reason that make there sails boat get loose an drift out to sea.....but nice to hear u clear it up..........hope they also see this content............an get there story rite..........
Best video so far & well done for retrieving that yacht. That other sailboat taking the drone out with all that sky to fly in, who'd have thought eh! ;-)
What a life! What a wonderful life you guys live! The stories you'll get to tell your children and your grandchildren! Incredible. Absolutely incredible!
Another Great video! You are so Professional and Safety conscious, BUT...I was surprised when in the inflatable you did not have the "kill" switch cord attached to you. I have seen a couple of instances where people fall off their boats/tenders/Sea Doo's and the kill switch was not attached and off goes the boat....
Hey can you guys give a tour about how you recharge your electric toys and refuel your jet skies tenders and chase boats. and where do you store the toy's fuel in the yacht. and how you guys do maintenance of them when they fail.
What a blessing they rescued your boat. But how did you lose both sailboat and the dinghy? Somethings just not right. you were definitely having a bad day. You were so lucky they decided to save your boat for you, almost look like a charter.
Loon to the rescue! Awesome! If that had been my boat you sure as heck would at least get some beer with you. Edit: Okay! So perhaps he didn't have any beer onboard, but instead wanted to hand you some money so that you could buy some on your next shore leave. Good!

100% agree
Solid, Capt.
Claiming the vessel or taking $$$ would've soiled the act of helping, HELPING someone is NOT about gain...... it's about GIVING your time and effort, nothing less, nothing more. You did absolutely the right thing Capt. Respect
I don't trust people not 100% motivated by money.
I confirm that they didn't even want the small reward I brought them! From the video it seems that I was naive but instead I have been going to sea for many years. Wait - you anchored your boat and left on the dinghy and then lost your dinghy while on the beach?
I love doing good deeds. More valuable than money! I love loving.
You have a lovely neat and tidy boat!
Awesome juju…. May the wind always be behind you. ❤️
Capt you and your crew dropped everything to help save that sail boat, the rule of the Sea. Shows what a true Seaman and a great Captain you are. Well done. Well done LOON.
When the rescue tender actually does a rescue! Amazing!
What the boat that rescues the rescue tender called?

Thank you for the positive comment and watching our adventures :)
Same I live in the middle of of USA never been or seen a ocean and I love there channel
@@tiffanyspengler9166 You better go see. It's not to be missed.
You can tell the REAL MARINERS, their eyes are CONSTANTLY scanning the horizon. Congrats, Capt. Paul!
I’m leaving a reply to give you a second thumbs up. We said.
Sign of an expert seaman - even with all the demands of kitesurfing he can spot when something's wrong with *someone else's* vessel!
Well done Capt Paul.

Listening to Captain Paul talk about the nearby yachts is always a highlight!
That is so wildly cool rescuing the sail boat... The flood of adrenaline that poor gent must have felt. Way to go Loon! Nice save! The Pirates Loon! 🤣
Not a mariner my self, but an aviator. I love watching the professionalism and excellent crew-y-ness. Great edits showing how well you all work together. Glad to say my crews are fun professionals as well!
Glad you enjoyed it , we work professionally around the clock but always manage to have a bit of fun
So much fun watching a bunch of happy people doing super cool stuff!!! Beats the hell out of those "reality" yachting shows! Thank you and I look forward to more!
I don't speak Italian but we all understand humanity. Great recovery in your recovery boat men.
Thank goodness there are some conscientious and highly skilled people on the ocean to first spot the issue and then intervene to help out.
You lot are always happy 😊 And that makes me happy 😊 win win 👍👍
Keep it up guys 👏👏👏
Pirates of the Tyrrhenian did not disappoint! Can't wait for the sequel!
I really loved the way you immediately did a walk around tour of the sailing vessel after you made sure nobody is on board.
Wasn’t it beautiful
I thought that (the tour below) was a bit of 'due diligence' or safeguarding on their behalf in that he could have found a body or a medical emergency for all he knew.

The lads did well. 👍 Any chance of a two week passage in the Med working my way as the rope inspector or on seagull watch? 🙂
Those shots of them sailing off with the boat were gorgeous! Hope they get to see the video and enjoy.
True professionalism. I like you guys more and more every time I watch.
The end of the last video ended with quite a cliffhanger!
The captains of all the other ships there must have really not understood the situation as well as you did.
Good job Captain Paul for the keen eye for spotting what's amiss out on the seas!
Awesome job with the rescue guys. Always feels good to help out another mariner!
We try to help whenever we can 🛥️🥂
Absolutely outstanding AGAIN. Loon and Her crew are the best amongst the best! Thanks for sharing guys, always looking forward to your uploads.
Absolutely loved that episode awesome. That motor yacht Norn 20.35 with the helicopter on top looks like a war ship it’s really cool
I like the feeling that you are creating with your content. So cool and professional at the same time. Very well done, and all of you are really looking like nice people. I want more of this.
Will do! That is what we try and aim to create
Awesome crew you have there Captain! I wish you guys much success and great tips!
Thanks so much!
I love that you take the time to tell us about other yatchs you guys encounter while chartering as well, always awesome to hear about other beautiful ships you’re surrounded by
We love seeing all the other beautiful yachts as we cruise around.
Another awesome video. Absolutely love the outtakes. Love it when the crew just ask normal.
Great video! Everyone looks like they mesh so well. They look like they are having fun, but also work their butts off.
Cheers to you guys! You turned a bad situation into a great story!
Love LOON & company !!!!! 🤗🙌🏻🥳🥳

Love this channel so much, fantastic yacht, great crew, and amazing adventures shared. Thank you Nina for the introduction to your new work place 👍😀
What a great video helpiing out a fellow sailer! You guys are awesome.
Putting the rescue tender to good use 🤣 great video 🎉
Finally……that was worth the wait on the rescue, lucky Italian. Rest of the vid was awesome and it’s cool Blair you have the others narrate at times. Bloopers at the end are great. Every vids getting better!
Top job with the boat rescue! It sheds another new light on the super/mega yacht world and those that work in it! For the good!!
Paul has such an infectious attitude thats GREAT for a captain. id LOVE to workn on a boat with ALL of yall. sure its a LOT of fun.
Call be biased, but MY Loon is the most beautiful boat of all time, she is just so perfectly dimensioned. Well done on the yacht save Crew 👍
Blair: content creator/ full time salvager.
Well done boys 🫶🏼 always making Loon proud 👏🏼
Nice one guys. True comradery to yachting life always looking out for each other.

Great episode.
Doing a tour of the drifting yacht was hilarious.
I always think of MY Loon as a big boat, but next to that white behemoth she was looking a bit smallish.
It’s amazing how small we can look next to some of the large Sheik owned yachts 😳
Yes but your heart is bigger! 😉
Totally stand up - well done - nice to see people helping others!!!
Amazing job! Guys, next time you save a boat, you got to wear a cape! Loon SuperHeroes!

Just loved it how after saving the sail boat you went and did a walk tour of the interior bad ass.. working my way to make some serious dough to book with you guys one day. Keep up the legendary work! ❤
Good on ya boys Your integrity shows how great your team is
Great work saving that couple's boat. I'm sure they will be happy telling that story for years.
So cool to see this!!! Great to look out for one another. The world would be a better place if more were like you guys!
Nice one Loon Crew, great vlog, and a warning to charter sailors, anchor safely, and keep an eye on your craft. 10********* for Loon crew!
At 13:35 I had to pause and walk around looking for an alarm that was going off ...... Great job on rescuing that sailboat!!!
what an amazing crew
Well done guys and gals.
Another great video for the books.

Great humanitarian spirit boyz. Kudus to here from South Africa. 🇿🇦😎👏🏻🥂
Brilliant video… best of the season, safe crossing for you all
Thank you. 😁
Well done guys, that must have been awful for the yacht owner thinking you guys were stealing his yacht, good video, enjoyed it.
Blair you made that drone recovery whilst moving look freaking easy.
Once again incredible professionalism .
Great rescue guys. I rescued a sailboat in Bequai and received a nice bottle of Tequila for our trouble. Love to watch you all having fun.

Nice, Bequai seems to be a tough spot to anchor.
We hope to make it down the St Lucia and SVG.
Well done, nightmare scenario when you go ashore from your boat at anchor, always a risk. The owner must have been so grateful!
They were very grateful and super friendly once they realized we weren’t stealing their boat. 😁

Nice work gentleman! BTW, the squeaky sound when you turn the wheel is the wheel lock still engaged...

Awesome!
If that had been my boat you sure as heck would at least get some beer with you.

Okay!
So perhaps he didn't have any beer onboard, but instead wanted to hand you some money so that you could buy some on your next shore leave.
Good!
Always great work Blair 👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
Er…yeah, but “I was just hovering and this sailboat sailed right into the drone” was hilarious.
🤦♂️
Awesome job guys! great save! 👍👍
