Not only that your running the camera app as well as processing really big files so yea it makes sense it would drain faster not to mention if you have other apps still opened or app refresh turned on
Bro this is so dope. And I noticed you fixed the voice over from last time I mentioned it. It’s a big difference. And the video is great. Thank you for sharing. Keep going!
I took this phone out just like you. Using mobile data and location services turned on does drain battery very fast. If those are turned off then it will easily last twice as long. So what I did was in the location I took one photo with location services on. Then for the rest of the dozens of photos I took with the location and mobile data off. Later on I just copied the location from that one photo to the rest within the photos app. I lasted much longer taking all the shots I wanted. That’s something you can try.
Should have gotten the pro max. And if you want a better bokeh output adjust after the shot is taken. 5.6 seems to be a pretty good sweet spot. On the main lens you will get lens bokeh automatically depending on the distance you shoot at.
Similarly the S23 Ultra camera continues to impress me. I absolutely love shooting in Pro mode (manual) and editing the RAW DNG files in Lightroom mobile. There are still limitations when it comes to very low light compared to my Olympus OM-1. But for something I carry with me daily, its stunning.
Appreciate the informative vid! If we may, we have a different experience with the battery, ours seem to be able to last the whole day (8 hours or more) when we start the day at 80% while using blackmagic to film b-rolls for our travel vlogs + use maps for navigation and regular daily use like instagramming etc. When we end the day it usually has about 10-20% left depending on whether we use lightroom along the way to edit the RAW images. Definitely agree that the iPhone 15 Pro produces dope images and vids especially with LOG and RAW. Great vid anyways, subscribed! :)
Hello, I have an iPhone 15 plus, do you think it is better to take photos in 48 mp heif or 12 mp raw? on the iphone 15 plus I can't take photos in 48 mp raw, thank you
Might be easier for you to just embrace that long cord and throw the external HD in your pocket vs having it just dangling in mid air 😅 Then you can have room on magsafe to snap on an external battery pack if you need to shoot longer.
Do you think this phone would be good enough for printing landscape photography photos? Thinking of getting one for a trip to Yosemite and the Utah mighty 5 this year. Or do I need to buy a dslr and some lenses? Thanks
6 месяцев назад
If you do have the budget for a dslr with at least a kit lens I'd say do invest in that for those locations. However you probably could get away with small to mid size prints that come out of an iPhone. You can also look at picture upscaling tools with Photoshop to enchance the quality if you do decide to just go with iPhone shots. Good luck!
@ thanks for the reply. Tbh I could go ahead and get the dslr and some decent lenses, but as an amateur I’m not sure I would actually end up taking it on my hikes enough to justify it, but my phone will always be with me so that’s why I’m trying to see if I can get away with the phone for some A2 size prints or slightly bigger if i shoot in raw.
Bro, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro can take 12 bit colour depth photo when ProRaw turned on. But iPhone 14 Pro and 15 Pro can only take 10 bit colour depth photo when ProRaw turned on. Why ? I don't have an iPhone, so can anyone please let me know if you turn ProRaw in 12 megapixel instead of 48 megapixel, can it take 12 bit photos ? I'm curious about this because, 12-bit = 68 billion colours. But, 10-bit = 1.07 billion colours. That's a huge difference. If iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro cannot take 12 bit photos, that seems to be a huge downgrade ! ??
Thanks for the informative video. If you had the option of the same lens setup in the pro max would you choose it for the extra battery life? Would you go for the pro max version as it is now despite not having the 3x telephoto?
Год назад+1
I actually rather have the 3x on my phone and leave the more telephoto stuff to my professional camera with a telephoto lens. Yes the battery life isn’t good on the pro right now but it may get patched as time goes and my lifestyle in Canada is usually in my car charging while driving and not staying out for too long away from my car. When I travel out of Canada, I usually have a power bank with me so I can easily top up the charge where needed.
I just want to know about black titanium, ppl says that black and blue colour got tue powedered coating and it they are getting off, ( peel off), please could you please let me know about the colour?

Not sure of that is the case, I have minor scratches and it does not seem like it’s peeling however I am now using a case with the phone!

@ I wanted to ask that, which colour option should i go with as i am upgrading it from iphone 11 should i go with 15 or 15 pro, I do not have budget issue, and also is battery imporved as compared to 11? and please let me know about the colour as well.
Год назад
@@amvinfinity I do like the black 15 personally, if you don't have a budget limit maybe think about the Pro Max version for the best battery performance. And there are definity improvements on the battery from the 11, battery health alone could be a huge difference for yourself.
@ I do understand but the thing is i like the 6.1 inch phone, coz of more comfortable, please let me know about the pro model with colour and about the battry as well.
have you adjusted some settings to save some battery while in the woods (wifi, bluetooth, mail push, background app update, animation etc.? Also with the pro raw images you get the depth map info included in the file iIrc, the new lens blur feature in lightroom can use it instead of just AI, did you try to see if it's somewhat better than the portrait mode?
Год назад
I did not adjust the settings, just wanted to see how fast the battery would drain. You are right, to add a bit blur I’d probably use the Photoshop depth blur and I do that even on my real camera just to spice up the bokeh sometimes. That would be a lot better than the portrait mode for sure.
When you’re shouting with an ssd, you’re phone is powering the drive so it’s draining more power
Ditto 👍🏽
Not only that your running the camera app as well as processing really big files so yea it makes sense it would drain faster not to mention if you have other apps still opened or app refresh turned on
Need not to shout with or without an SSD
Is it possible to charge the phone simultaneously?
It’s either storage or battery, gotta sacrifice one to get the other

Super informative, well edited, really good stuff man! Earned my sub!
Thank you!
The video I was waiting for! As I’m watching this on my 15 Pro 😂
Enjoy your new phone!🙌🏼
@Did you shoot this video with your iPhone using iOS 17.0.3? It’s supposed to help the 15 Pro’s battery be better
How is the battery doing so far for you?
@@FazilYousafzai69I get about 6-7+ hours of on screen time 100%-1%
I enjoyed the journey. Getting outside is so important. Sharing the moments is icing on the cake. Stay safe. Keep shooting.
Thanks so much!

Really good video man, earned my sub. I love my pro max

use motionpro, mcpro24fps. they take raw dng videos and it blows ur mind
Great video! Photos that you edited are incredible. Think you could do a video on editing on the iPhone 15 pro?

Definitely subscribing. This is the best video I've ever watched for video quality and usability. I wish you would do another with Pixel 8 pro.
Means a lot, thank you!
My mom also rolls the clock to 30s and double zeros. She says I am always late. Cool video. It seems like you had fun making it!👍
Glad there is another person like me haha!
Great video! Amazing shots! Looks like the 15 pro camera is a good improvement!
Thanks for watching!
Posted some of these shots over on Instagram for you to see!
Exactly the same way when it comes to time... round up baybee! That way, you are never late...
Are these videos and photos direct from iPhone or you colour grade and edit it?
where is this? great info thanks
Hi. Do you also sell the LUTS you used in your video? Thanks.
Awesome job on this video...can't believe those photos came from a phone

15 pro max

Blatant cost cutting downgrade. It gets sugar coated though, and the gullible lick it all up. Excitedly.

@ thanks! I agree that the form factor of the regular 15 pro is ideal. Wish both lenses 3x and 5x were available on both pro models.
What camera did you use to shoot this video inside?
they should make an option to take pngs instead of raw because raw is massive but png Is the same thing but smaller
bro does not know about camera files😂
+ theres jpeg
and btw I DO know about camera files 🤨@@adg30
Sup Man! I just wanna know if the 15 pro max does have 24, 28, 35mm focal lengths in videos as well, cuz non the RUclips videos are talking about it!
Pro version does, I am pretty sure Pro Max does too.
How’s the case slipping in and out of pockets? Do you have a affiliate link?
I don’t do amazon affiliate, the case it self is not bad. There is a video coming and it’s going to include a cool case!

what kind of external ssd are u using
Samsung T7
