Every time I see your photos, I’m struck by how simple yet spot-on your compositions are. It’s the genius way you frame each shot, the perspective you choose - it’s almost maddening how perfect it all is. I’m both inspired and, let’s be honest, a bit crushed. Yeah, you’re a genius. Damn it, Fxxxxxxxxx!
I often use my iPhone to shoot, and I often use a gimbal. I enjoy shooting while watching a lot of your past videos and using them as reference. I am very influenced by you, and I am inspired every time I watch your videos. I look forward to seeing more great videos in the future. I'm late, but I have subscribed to your channel. Thank you.
Benett, thanks for a great list of affordable accessories. I've added a few to a wishlist - plus I've recently bought the Hollyland mic you recommended here and previously. 🙏
But how do I use SSD (8:10) with the Mic (8:53) at the same time? Also, the adapter you show at 8:23 is the wrong one. You want to buy the male to male adapter for the T7 (and many others that have a female input), not the male to female.
If you're looking to connect an external mic and use an SSD, the Lexar 1TB Professional Go Portable SSD w/Hub is the best option: geni.us/USxx8. It supports Apple 4K 60fps ProRes, offers speeds up to 1050MB/s, and features USB 3.2 Gen 2 with additional USB-C ports for audio connections.
Would just an iPhone 16 be just as useful as the pro is out of my budget or should I just stick with my 13mini and gimbal and buy some of the accessories you recommended regards Fred

Also: using a clip on (Sandmarc) ND Filter the iPhone Lidar sensor is not blocked/obscured. Using a Beastcage rig for example DOES block the Lidar sensor.
Such a great content ! I have Insta360 Flow, do you think its gonna hold my 16 pro with a clip on ND filter 2-400 ? It's with the new magnet mount so I can't push it lower. Ordered 52mm but maybe the 37mm was the better opiton.
Hey Bennett I love your videos so much, but I just have a suggestion can you please cover videos on other smartphones too like Samsung because yes the iphone has better video but not everyone likes using an iphone
iRe5 iPhone case removes the need for an SSD and is super minimal - it uses a microSD card building to the slim case 🙌🏽 it has 1TB and pretty fast bit transfer rates!
It’s interesting to see how many people choose the iPhone because it’s always at hand and practical, but over time, they realize it’s not quite enough on its own. So, they start buying accessories - gimbals, extra batteries, add-on lenses, microphones, lighting equipment, additional software - and suddenly, taking photos and videos becomes overly complicated. Ironically, they end up losing the flexibility that made using a phone for photography and videography appealing in the first place. If you’re serious about it, it might be better to invest in a proper camera - it’s simpler and more effective in the long run. 😊
It’s essential for me that the camera button on the iPhone 16 Pro remains accessible. With most stands, it’s nearly impossible to keep the camera button clear due to limited space. I believe a magnetic clamp might be a better option for this purpose.
Brother, can you guide me how to connect the Samsung SSD to iPhone 16 Pro Max because the connector which you had shown which is 180°? It doesn’t have both male ends. The way you have connected that connector must have both the ends as male.
I wish Sandmarc had a lens for 35mm or 50mm. For me, these are more "natural" looking lenses. I know I can do 48mm using the BlackMagic app but at the cost of resolution quality.
Is there any light leak with the VND? Looks like they are meant to attach to a lens, so likely a round backside. In my experience, this leads to light leak.
No-ones done a good/complete minimalist setup yet. Polar Pro = Best grip and filter options. Best filter covers and defender plate. No lens mount options . Moment = Best case and minimalist filters (quicklock filters that aren't large and circular are awesome). No grip options. SmallRig or Tilta Khronos = Best cage/handle rig setup but rigging out a phone kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me. No-one has a good solution for combo-ing external storage with their system in a streamlined or minimalist way. The best scenario would be if Moment created a minimalist grip attachment that included either a small SSD or CFExpress Slot inside the grip. And DJI really needs a gimbal that can do tracking without using their proprietary app.
So you’ve bought an iPhone, an external SSD, an Apple Watch to frame yourself, a wireless hub if you want to connect a microphone AND an SSD at the same time and I suppose you’d need have some form of portable power source to recharge all of these devices at the same time. Just as a matter of interest then, why don’t you just buy a Sony zv e10 or e10 mark 2? I mean surely the camera and a lens doesn’t take up any more space than than all of the other devices you need to carry just to use a mobile phone?
Clearly when you use the port for SSD there is no way to connect the mic anymore and you just skimmed through that problem. Is there actually a solution for that?

Do you prefer to shoot Log still for travel videos given the space or are you typically just shooting with the stock iPhone camera app?

What would you recommend the backup power supply for all devices? Like drones, cameras, lights, flash, gimbal.

Does the stand in the video not allow for this?
@@matthewloffredo4356 I’m almost certain there’s no space for the 16 Pro.
@BenettGraezer can you confirm if this is the case?
Whether suggested accessories can be used in Iphone 16 standard and plus?
is this just for apple products or can you use it for anything
you can also use with android phones :)
The Neo be perfect if they could drop the sound level to the Mini 3 and 4 level.
It is very loud that true
So you either shoot in pro res with an ssd OR record sound...
unfortunately the gimbal cant handle the extra weight when you add accessories !
Now to find an adapter that handles the lark and the Samsung Drive in tandem 🎉

The way you have connected that connector must have both the ends as male.
Whats the camera used for filiming this video? Like during the end "Final Thoughts" part, The colors are great.
Thanks you so much, I used the SonyA7S3 with sigma 24mm F1.4
Would you do a Lexar Go Portable SSD review? 🙏
Yes coming soon :D
請問任何一款apple watch都可以用嗎?
How can one connect the Holly Lark mic at the same time as the SSD?
you need a Samsung T9 for 4k 120, anything less give you drop frames and or write errors.

SANDMARC does also provide a 58mm telephoto lens for achieving that natural look: bit.ly/4fmt3Yx

I edit at home using Final Cut Pro :)
You forgot to mention the SSD adapter link :)

What is the black case you are using for your phone?
Its the original case by apple
The 180 degree usb you show the Amazon page for is female and male, but the one you’re using is male/male. Do you have a link to it on Amazon?
Sorry forgot to put it in the description here you go: geni.us/AeIzW4

I got the silicon case in black: geni.us/bOmknPe

Yes
