Every time I see your photos, I’m struck by how simple yet spot-on your compositions are. It’s the genius way you frame each shot, the perspective you choose - it’s almost maddening how perfect it all is. I’m both inspired and, let’s be honest, a bit crushed. Yeah, you’re a genius. Damn it, Fxxxxxxxxx!
I’m sure I’m echoing a lot of people, but I’m absolutely amazed at how much helpful information you put in this video. Thanks so much! It seems as if the iPhone 15 and up has really made it possible to turn the iPhone into a content creation device as opposed to only a content consuming device.
Hey, Benett! A really informative video. Thank you a lot for it. Just to make sure, did you film this video using an iPhone 16 and the mentioned lens as well?
Thank you really helpful. I bought the iPhone 16 thinking i would use it also as a camera not realizing just how many accessories are out there. This video made it really easy to consider different options. Thank you awesome! 🙏 Really well done!
Good video. Do you think the iPhone 16 Pro microphone is good enough or do you always use a lapel mic? And if your mic is plugged in, how do you add the extra storage? Also, how do you see your iPhone video feed on an iPad in real time?
Awesome video! Love the way it was filmed and very informative. One thing I was hoping for to see with all of the iPhone accessories you mentioned, was an adapter to be able to use all those accessories at the same time while recording. I’d like to setup my phone with the microphone, SSD and the portable power bank. If there’s any way to do so I’d appreciate someone informing me. But great video! Thanks for sharing!
I often use my iPhone to shoot, and I often use a gimbal. I enjoy shooting while watching a lot of your past videos and using them as reference. I am very influenced by you, and I am inspired every time I watch your videos. I look forward to seeing more great videos in the future. I'm late, but I have subscribed to your channel. Thank you.
Fantastic review! I been using the Sandmarc lenses since iPhone X they are fantastic capturing crystal clear wide angle shots without distortion, really unique. The variable nd filter is amazing too.
Excellent video, especially for a person like me that don’t know nothing about this stuff. However, this is so intriguing to me and I wish I had a job where I could use all this equipment.
Thanks for your all the nice advice. Can you please advise me which one will be better to capture out door video” hohem isteady m6 gimbal vs dji osmo ?
Simple and relatable. Well done. I really like the idea of that neck adapter. Also, I love the Mark 2! Just got it. How do you use an SSD and still use the Mark 2 at the same time ? Thanks in advance for replying.
This is really informative. New youtuber here and I’m going to Japan on March and would like to document it. I have iphone 16 pro max and I am considering to buy dji osmo pocket 3. On the other hand, I feel like I just want to stick using my iphone 16 promax. This video really helps. Thank you
This video blew my socks off! Man, you must have gone through a lot of products before finding these ones. Thanks a lot, mate for the effort! You're doing amazing work
What a great video!!! In my experience, the only bad thing with the tripod is it wears out over time. The top portion will end up sliding down from the weight of the phone. The gimbal is great but not very strong. It can handle a filter but not a lens attachment. Thanks for tips about the watch I didn’t know about. Will definitely be picking up an Apple Watch now!!! I got rid of my drone because it was so much stuff and I wrecked so many times! Thank you for this info. Will be buying a Neo for sure now!!! Thanks so much. Subscribed and liked.
Man, what a great video. So pleasant to watch. But most importantly, you have a fantastic choice of products. I already own a few, and on those, I felt you were spot on. +1
Would just an iPhone 16 be just as useful as the pro is out of my budget or should I just stick with my 13mini and gimbal and buy some of the accessories you recommended regards Fred
I haven't been able to do too much testing with the newest iPhone pro but I have compared my pixel 9 pro XL to my girlfriends 12 mini and my video is usually better (auto settings). If you could find a refurbished or used pro might be worth looking into. Also don't discount the pixel the video has gotten much better
definitely doing this for the ol iPhone! good stuff! only catch is my phone case has a flap that covers the usb-c port so when you open 'er up it will block the adapter from working well...may have to x-acto it off!
If you're looking to connect an external mic and use an SSD, the Lexar 1TB Professional Go Portable SSD w/Hub is the best option: geni.us/USxx8. It supports Apple 4K 60fps ProRes, offers speeds up to 1050MB/s, and features USB 3.2 Gen 2 with additional USB-C ports for audio connections.
There is a great and better alternative. The hohem isteady m6 kit. It cost a bit more but you can add all the stuff to your phone and the best, you dont need to use the fucked up apps for getting the special features like tracking etc.
So this tripod? Do you think it’s too flimsy to use with a gimbal or will it hold up? If mainly using with a gimbal, would you still recommend this lightweight compact tripod or another one? Thank you for your time!
thanks for all the info - I just got a iPhone 16 for easer videoing for my channel. I am getting a couple things you explained thanks again for the info.
But how do I use SSD (8:10) with the Mic (8:53) at the same time? Also, the adapter you show at 8:23 is the wrong one. You want to buy the male to male adapter for the T7 (and many others that have a female input), not the male to female.
If you're looking to connect an external mic and SSD at the same time check out this video here: ruclips.net/video/FE9vROjuNa4/видео.htmlsi=vLZlL2bWB4jGGg1g
I have these mics so I just checked since I was wondering the same thing. Even though they do have a USB-C port on the side, unfortunately they only support charging, not data transfer. So using the mics and the ssd at the same time isn't possible.
Such a great content ! I have Insta360 Flow, do you think its gonna hold my 16 pro with a clip on ND filter 2-400 ? It's with the new magnet mount so I can't push it lower. Ordered 52mm but maybe the 37mm was the better opiton.
Also: using a clip on (Sandmarc) ND Filter the iPhone Lidar sensor is not blocked/obscured. Using a Beastcage rig for example DOES block the Lidar sensor.
Benett, thanks for a great list of affordable accessories. I've added a few to a wishlist - plus I've recently bought the Hollyland mic you recommended here and previously. 🙏
Anyone know why there is not an exposure meter in the Black Magic Camera app? For having the ability to customize and lock every setting in, adding zebra stripes instead of an exposure meter seems like a weird feature to leave off/
Brother, can you guide me how to connect the Samsung SSD to iPhone 16 Pro Max because the connector which you had shown which is 180°? It doesn’t have both male ends. The way you have connected that connector must have both the ends as male.
Thank you so much. you gave me a lot of idea on iPhone. two days ago I went to my town for countdown, I can't record it especially far from stage. I need a phone to record it instead of my action camera.
iRe5 iPhone case removes the need for an SSD and is super minimal - it uses a microSD card building to the slim case 🙌🏽 it has 1TB and pretty fast bit transfer rates!
Is there any light leak with the VND? Looks like they are meant to attach to a lens, so likely a round backside. In my experience, this leads to light leak.
There are different ways to improve stabilization. 1. Ninja Walk 2. Using a Gimbal 3. Post Stabilization. By using all three at the same time you‘ll get the best results 👍🏻
3:24 how far away does the watch let you see what’s on the camera? Is it only like 10 or 20 feet or if you have cellular service on the watch does it work anywhere?
in the video you advertise the Duttek 240w connector - but in the picture I can see that it is a mother-father connector - and it does not fit the Samsung drive because you need a type ... father - father ....Am I thinking correctly?
Just wondering. Sometimes my Osmo Mobile 6 doesn't work as the iPhone 15 with a case is too heavy. Does it really work well with the even bigger 16 Pro MAX and a case?
I wish Sandmarc had a lens for 35mm or 50mm. For me, these are more "natural" looking lenses. I know I can do 48mm using the BlackMagic app but at the cost of resolution quality.
If you're looking to connect an external mic and SSD at the same time check out this video here: ruclips.net/video/FE9vROjuNa4/видео.htmlsi=vLZlL2bWB4jGGg1g
shit i have to sell my sandisk 2TB blue orange ssd which i recently purchased to get this audio hub

So surprised at how useful almost all of your recommendations are. I typically find 30-40% of recommendations in a video useful. Well done!

Wow all those gadgets are so good. Amazing smart and modern setup! Didn’t know about apple watch mini monitor feature 😂
I learned so much! Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
do you have, if you must, a couple of budget options for starting filmmakers for the filters and gimbal? thanks!
I often use my iPhone to shoot, and I often use a gimbal. I enjoy shooting while watching a lot of your past videos and using them as reference. Thank you! You will need a usb-c hub or you can use Lexsr‘s professional go portable ssd with hub (link in the description).
Greatest vid ever for 16 pro film making. My question is, does your apple watch supports to take the video at 4k 120fps?
This is really informative. New youtuber here and I’m going to Japan on March and would like to document it. I have iphone 16 pro max and I am considering to buy dji osmo pocket 3. On the other hand, I feel like I just want to stick using my iphone 16 promax. This video really helps. Thank you

Great job, sir! I’m tempted to buy everything you just showcased!
Thanks! Have fun 💯
Very detailed. Thanks for sharing all the information and the links! You have a great set up. After this video new subscriber! 👍
Thanks for the sub!

Ah, yeah that's a good point, maybe cut a small hole for the adapter in your flap?
@@BenettGraezer thats the plan!
I love the minimalist idea. I hate having a lot of gear. How do you have your SSD and Lark M2 working at the same time?
If you're looking to connect an external mic and use an SSD, the Lexar 1TB Professional Go Portable SSD w/Hub is the best option: geni.us/USxx8. It supports Apple 4K 60fps ProRes, offers speeds up to 1050MB/s, and features USB 3.2 Gen 2 with additional USB-C ports for audio connections.

Legit question how do you attach the mic and ssd connected simultaneously?
Great tips, didn't know about some of this stuff. Just ordered a few! And subbed, Cheers!
Awesome, I hope you enjoy them!

3:12 far away can you be from your phone and have the watch still display what your camera does?
What would you recommend the backup power supply for all devices? Like drones, cameras, lights, flash, gimbal.
Great list of accessories, I enjoyed the B roll footage of real-world use cases!
Glad you like them!
So this tripod? Do you think it’s too flimsy to use with a gimbal or will it hold up? If mainly using with a gimbal, would you still recommend this lightweight compact tripod or another one? Thank you for your time!
Still recommend it and it works well with using a mobile gimbal. However if its too windy you will experience wobble
@ thanks, I just ordered one to use with the new insta360 flow pro 2 coming out tomorrow! Upgrading from the old DJI OM3
thanks for all the info - I just got a iPhone 16 for easer videoing for my channel. I am getting a couple things you explained thanks again for the info.

so you're not mounting/securing the SSD in any other way? That seems like a lot of stress on the connector and the iphone's USB C port?
Do you prefer to shoot Log still for travel videos given the space or are you typically just shooting with the stock iPhone camera app?
Absolutely nice gears for the iPhone. Useful things which can be honest review 👍🏻

The Neo be perfect if they could drop the sound level to the Mini 3 and 4 level.
It is very loud that true
I wish Sandmarc had a lens for 35mm or 50mm. For me, these are more "natural" looking lenses.
I know I can do 48mm using the BlackMagic app but at the cost of resolution quality.
SANDMARC does also provide a 58mm telephoto lens for achieving that natural look: bit.ly/4fmt3Yx
I use the Neo too
Good job man ❤
