I'm a current Murano owner and I have to say that I am super excited and happy to see Nissan do a redesign of the murano and I will be looking to purchase one. I like the new massage front seats, wireless android auto/apple carplay, ambient lighting, etc, however, I also have to state my concerns and say where Nissan fell short.
For what Nissan will be asking us to pay for a new Murano, what I don't like after doing a comparison of my current Murano and the New Pathfinder is, the rear seats don't recline, you can pull a lever to let the rear seats down but there is no power up fuction like my current murano, there are not ventilated rear seats, no spare tire, no fog lamps, the new murano doesn't get touch sensitive door handles like the pathfinder and you can only unlock/ lock the two front doors with a button on the two front doors but on the pathfinder you can touch and lock or unlock all the doors with any of the four doors, you only get one storage pocket on the back of the front passenger seat but no pocket on the back of the driver seat, and there is no rear climate control.
Nissan doesn't stay consistent with its models and the technology. There are other options out here where you can get more, at the same price point that Nissan is asking for.

It is comfy and almost plush inside. I joke that the interior switchgear (ancient-looking but tactilely satisfying) feels straight out of a 2014 Infiniti, and that's not a bad thing. We love it. I'm currently driving my wife's 2003, because I got effed by dodge with a defective engine, and for the most part I love it. Very comfortable, roomy(I'm a FF), and despite all the CVT naysayers I love the absolutely smooth acceleration, and boy does it accelerate. My broken dodge has like 20 something more HP and this is about as quick off the line as my brick is. Everyone clamoring for the new 9-speed, isn't that the same tranny in the pathfinder & rogue? I've read in multiple publications and seen in multiple videos that those are having major issues, is that all BS?
I like the interior of this 2025, but the outside, meh. I'm actually picking up a 2024 in a couple weeks, I'm pretty glad I didn't wait for a 2025. 😁

With all the tech on the market, which they've thrown so much in to this, they omitted seemingly the best part; performance! As cool as this one looks now, it needs at least 300hp! Can be all resolved with a NISMO variant!

@@haroldbeauchamp3770 well yeah i agree that the signia rides a bit lower than the murano but it still is considered a crossover not a wagon. The biggest improvement on the ICE side is losing that CVT. It was nothing but problems and expensive to repair. I wish the Ariya had customizable interior lights & wireless Android Auto. I also wish that it got OTA updates. It's capable of them but they just haven't done any yet (even though the vehicle could benefit from some greatly).

They should have let us rock with V6 or at least 1 more year ir 2. The V6 in the pathfinder would have been better, or the 295hp rock creek motor would have been cool as well, the fuel economy would have been the same, if not better, there was no point in adding the VC turbo. Also, I hate 2 spoke steering wheels, 3 or 4 spokes looks so much better. Other than all that, very excited about the new murano, long overdue for a refresh
