Weird that they didn't include the rear 3rd climate zone when the Rogue offers that... An SR trim would be interesting. But that interior is NICE. Muranos have always been a low-key Lexus RX competitor and this is closer than ever. The front end looks a little weird head on, but looks much better in 3/4 views. Again, the Murano has always been a little weird looking and this is on brand. Kudos Nissan.
Way overdue, I think they did a fantastic job. Could use some mild hybrid 48 volt massaging, honestly if they had updated the 3.5 and then implemented an electric motor probably would have been better than the 2.0 VC...Thanks Sofyan💯👌
The V6 wasn’t as reliable as you think. 2017- 2023 had piston ring issues and burned oil and had significant sludge issues. Literally type in Nissan Pathfinder engine sludge and see for yourself.
5:45 glad to see Nissan, unlike so many manufacturers these days, still knows that all turn signals, front, side, and rear are supposed to be amber and separate from the brake lamps.
We knew the VC turbo-4 was coming, sigh. Earlier this year, I grabbed a new 2024 Murano SL, to get the smooth, trusty, and nice-sounding V6. Going down the road, it feels hushed and sturdy. It is comfy and almost plush inside. I joke that the interior switchgear (ancient-looking but tactilely satisfying) feels straight out of a 2014 Infiniti, and that's not a bad thing. We love it. The 2025 version looks great, very much stepping on Infiniti's toes with the design.

Good job Nissan. No way I'd consider the current QX50 over this. Very solid update. The interior continues the upswing ongoing with Nissan products and with this vehicle being dominate with female buyers, Nissan did their homework. I'm curious if they changed the software mapping on the VC-T? It had very odd surging when adjusting the compression when I tested it. But I've not tested one with a 9spd, so that may fix that.
I kid you not, this morning while driving I started thinking about the Murano and was wondering if it was still even in production. Hopefully we get a Cross-Cabriolet version

Thanks for the thorough review! After owning a 1st and 2nd Gen + the convertible, I didn't care for the outgoing one. But this one looks promising. Just hate that they reduced the hp! With all the tech on the market, which they've thrown so much in to this, they omitted seemingly the best part; performance! As cool as this one looks now, it needs at least 300hp! Can be all resolved with a NISMO variant!
I’m pleasantly surprised because this looks pretty good. Kudos to Nissan tryna turn things around. I hope they worked out the VC Turbo issues and they go back to the reliable fu brand I grew up loving.
I read that the bluish-tinted, aluminum-look trim on the center of the dash and along the door panels was designed to sort of simulate the look of Italian Murano glass. I think it’s a nice, unique touch.
Not really. The Crown Signia is an obvious station wagon. This is definitely more crossover vibe. This would be more of a competitor to the Mazda CX-70, Kia Sorento, Ford Edge.
@@haroldbeauchamp3770 well yeah i agree that the signia rides a bit lower than the murano but it still is considered a crossover not a wagon. I own a 3rd gen Murano Platinum & a 1st gen Ariya Platinum. It's interesting to see where they've improved from a design standpoint from both of those vehicles. The biggest improvement on the ICE side is losing that CVT. It was nothing but problems and expensive to repair. I wish the Ariya had customizable interior lights & wireless Android Auto. I also wish that it got OTA updates. It's capable of them but they just haven't done any yet (even though the vehicle could benefit from some greatly).
I don’t wanna sound lame. But having owned 4 Nissans and then moving away from the brand momentarily; I’m super excited to see this one finally changed after all this time. Considering getting the new Murano for sure, rogue rock creek, or frontier 4xPro
All family members and myself included drove Nissan for years but the CVT transmission has been a failure for all family members. Now we have all been buying different name brands. I am glad they are moving away from the CVT,now I hope the variable compression motor isn’t the failure like the CVT was. Love the way the new Murano looks inside and out.
Thank you Sofyan! Great review. You beat Tommy fair and square. However this variable compression engine is junk. Another lease vehicle from Nissan like the Rogue.
Loving the new look in and out and the new transmission however I'm all for a vc turbo hybrid engine as a option, not as the main motor. They should have let us rock with V6 or at least 1 more year ir 2. The V6 in the pathfinder would have been better, or the 295hp rock creek motor would have been cool as well, the fuel economy would have been the same, if not better, there was no point in adding the VC turbo. Also, I hate 2 spoke steering wheels, 3 or 4 spokes looks so much better. Other than all that, very excited about the new murano, long overdue for a refresh
If the second row can't recline, this is not the SUV for me and I am mad I waited for it. One of the features I loved with my 2018 Nissan Murano, it helped out a ton since I have two young children with car seats.
Holy smokes is that thing FUGLY. Wow. Astonishing.
I’m pleasantly surprised because this looks pretty good. Kudos to Nissan tryna turn things around. I hope they worked out the VC Turbo issues and they go back to the reliable fu brand I grew up loving.
My 2017 Murano has 80k no issue. I hope this engine and transmission have no problems.
I read that the bluish-tinted, aluminum-look trim on the center of the dash and along the door panels was designed to sort of simulate the look of Italian Murano glass. I think it’s a nice, unique touch.
Literally seen one yesterday and was like when are they gonna redesign those lol
I had one of the early ones, loved it to bits, but then switched to Lexus when they stopped bringing it to Australia. Thanks Nissan, love my Lexus
Looks like the Toyota crown signia finally has some competition!
And after doing some research the signia does indeed compete in the same segment as the murano, the sorrento, and the Santa Fe. All four of them roughly between 192-194 inches in length. Sadly the ford edge has been discontinued but i get where you’re coming from. Also the murano and the signia are roughly the same price now.
@@eriksotelo3 the Crown Signia is a phenomenal buy however. My neighbor is the general manager of the local Toyota dealer. The Crown and the Crown Signia both are horrible sellers. They can’t give them away. He sells both of them at a loss. 3-5k off of sticker. Definitely would take one of those over the Nissan.
@@haroldbeauchamp3770 from just the looks I really like the signia I think it’s a much nicer looking venza.
@@haroldbeauchamp3770 Ask you neighbour why they won't bring the Crown Sport model w/PHEV over?
Would run to buy it right away if they did!
First the kicks, armada, and now this!!! Nissan finally stopped playing around and started getting serious, and I love it!! Now, do this to the rouge.
Finally! Still pushing our 2015 but been waiting for the remodel.
Watching your channel is like a holiday in the world of entertainment and jokes. Thank you for your creativity and ability to make people smile!♂️🦄🐶
I have to get used of that front end.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this sport utility vehicle at the LA auto show November 22 but two disappointments more power in the 4 cylinder engine and no hybrid option 😮
Great surprise Nissan
wow... a bottle of fix-a-flat instead of a spare tire? that screams luxury
Wow nissan has upgraded their cars!!!!👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nissan is listening!! Gorgeous car ❤❤
Wow. Well, this is a surprise. Love the styling. Really hope Nissan get out of this rut and get back into the game against it's rivals.
OMG!! I am really like this vehicle & I consider buys one for myself someday for sure Sofyan.
What a great revised Murano. looks fantastic. Do you say it’s not even a mild hybrid in other words no start/ stop crap?
Did not expect a new murano at all. Looks good actually. They should bring back the xterra as well
That's the QX55 styling on the back. And well well well, glad the CVT is finally gone! This should be a seller.
Tommy got in a bit later than us but we saw him filming the car at the reveal this morning 😄
@@theredline 😀😀
I love it...What a nice surprise..
Now we need the china
altima and pathfinder at global market
Looks good! Nissan’s turning it around!
If the second row can't recline, this is not the SUV for me and I am mad I waited for it. One of the features I loved with my 2018 Nissan Murano, it helped out a ton since I have two young children with car seats. I am really upset with Nissan for removing this feature since all of the other Japanese Car Makers SUVs still have it!
Is it just me or does anybody else sit there and hope that he honks the horn when he’s in the driver seat? Sometimes he does it and sometimes he doesn’t😢 sick car nonetheless
i really wished they would update their sedans and make more but i do really think this redesign murano is great
