I’m totally digging this new design…very handsome full size suv with the new tech it desperately needed….I will miss the simple NA V8 but I’m sure this is faster … Only thing I wish Nissan did was bring back the Titan pickup with the new architecture here in the states 😎🤘🏽
No matter how good the Titan is, it just won't sell. Full-size truck owners are fiercly loyal. But also I think Nissan doesn't have the funds to compete and offer the plethora of configurations like the Big 3.

This is the first time I’ve heard you say you love so many things about a Nissan. This refresh really makes this truck a serious competitor with the Tahoe and Seqouia.
Not a Variation of the VQ engine. It’s the VR series engine. A variation of the GTR VR38 and the Z VR30 engine. VR family are only V6 twin turbocharged engines.
to be fair the vr series is based off the vq series., and the vq series is based off the VG series..... But yeah i caught that too, a little weird sounding.
I have been waiting to see the updated Armada since the new Infiniti came out! I have the Midnight version of a 2021 Armada and have been foaming at the mouth to get a new one! However I do think I like the front and back end lights and styling of the Infiniti better. It's going to be a hard decision for me, but really need to see both of these babies in person before jumping the gun.😊
NIssan, like Mazda are really designing elevated interiors. I would take this over the new Sequoia for sure - this is coming from a loyal Toyota customer. This Armada looks much more upscale than the competitors while also providing stellar off-road performance! Hope this sells well.
I really like this new Armada. It’s thoroughly modern, and stands out and has way more character than any Expedition, Tahoe, or Yukon. I wish they didn’t kick up the rear 3/4 as much, but still like the overall design.
Can the Toyota Landcruiser match this Nissan Armada, let alone beat it? I doubt that. This Armada is even better looking than its Infiniti QX80 sibling.

@@Tram-30I think it's a cost cutting measure when the domestic brands do it I'm not sure. And as for the euro brands they're just doing it for the look I guess. They get away with it because there's no law here saying what color turn signals should be so the auto makers just do what they want.

It’s around 430 miles on full tank combined city/highway on the standard 24 gallon fuel tank. When the auxiliary fuel tanks come out (24 gallon and 40 gallon) for this model like they have for the Y61 and Y62 Patrol then you can double that range to 860 miles or 1150 miles. True off-road survival vehicle. Finally the US gets the real Patrol.
Appears to offer what people want when buying a large SUV... passenger room plus luggage space. Both of which Toyota seemed to forget when designing the 3rd generation Sequoia. Adding that battery under the rear floor area will be what holds the Sequoia sales back. Nice move on Nissan's part by watching Toyota drop the ball on the Sequoia and capitalizing on it.
Nissan-Infiniti needed this win along with the QX80 and QX60, I love Nissan and love seeing that they are trying, I hate they've been failing their sedan lineup Altima and Q50 both got killed off and that wasn't a great decision because those are loved vehicles that were all quite competitive options once upon a time... As a gmc/chev guy im digging this Nissan. Should have kept the 5.6 V8 as an option. Not a fan of turbo 6’s as power delivery is much different as is internal pressures/heat/friction and reliability/Dependability/durability.

I have 210k on my 04 armada. I think it’s time to upgrade.. The 04 is still going strong. Bulletproof v8. I’m weary of a turbo V6 though. Turbos die eventually.
this is definitely a refresh. the overall shape hasnt changed. that "smaller bumper" is the same bumper just tiered to try to hide it. This is giving Ford F150 from 2015 until now..the same truck with a new interior

If they want to cannibalize and eventually kill off Infiniti their luxury brand, then yea they should continue to take pages out of Hyundai and Kia’s book which is actually *gm’s* book. If they want both their mainstream and luxury brands to flourish I’d follow *gm* closer than Hyundai and I think Nissan has figured that out too. That would explain why the Armada resembles the GMC Yukon so closely and the QX80 the Escalade.
Finally a worthy SUV from Nissan to compete with the other brands. The technology really killed the sales on the previous generations so I’m curious how this new armada will now stack up with the competition. 😎
Too bad Nissan switched to twin turbo V6. If it is anything like Toyota's new twin turbo V6, it will have horrible mpg. I struggled to get 16 mpg on my -22 Tundra, where my old Titan V8 got better than 19 mpg. Same driver, same load, same roads😡
I'm ok with ishh gas mileage but can you please for the love of dogs at least put a 30 gallon+ fuel tank in there, preferably more. I was having 250 miles of range in my titan. You get more range in an EV.

Nissan really needed to rebuild the Titan XD to compete in the 2500/3500 truck battle but thanks to Cummins for supplying an absolute garbage engine the Titan is over.... this interior in a new Titan with a solid diesel and a good 25k goose neck tow rating would be a winner all day long

Pro 4X is in response to the Z71 Tahoe and Timberline Expedition. They needed a slice of the “trail” customer base.
