1979... Laurie 20...Fry...22...French...22 (she married Lenny Henry at 27 and the marriage lasted 25 years...she portrayed the desperate spinster so well in the Vicar of Dibney I believed that was really her, shows what I know)
'wogan', wow, this show was one of the things i heard when trying to 'sleep' as a kid. it was on at 8pm i believe, and i was about 6, annoyed and wanting to see these comedians doing their amazing stuff.
LOL I love that when everyone complains about how bad the beer is and puts down their glasses Hugh takes another sip. lol Also, Stephen trying to stuff that tomato onto his nose & Dawn's laughing at people's genitals joke - priceless. Love them all really. So young and pretty.
Being from Montreal (Canada), I find that Stephen looks like a student from the very dear Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf. ...oh, wait, or is it that Jean-de-Brébeuf is trying to look like Cambridge... :P

Blimey this is old, I was born end of that year, and it looks so old🤦♀️ those red noses actually hurt, I seem to remember those ones in the early 90s not the most comfortable!
Not really surprising Fry's nose is bent, is it.. Something thát large sticking out of someones face has to receive some damage over the years, doesn't it.. I mean, let's face(?) it, that thing is E-normous!!!
Oh my god they're all so young.
Stephen Fry, you are a joy, and so dishy.

Hugh is 6'3", Stephen is 6"5' & Dawn is 5'0"
I'm watching House MD on DVD and this on my phone. Trippy.
The subtly of British homour is brilliant! I love it.
"... lay down some newspaper first."
Ahahaha!
OH MY! How beautiful Stephen is!
Rest in Peace, Sir Terry, the pride of Ireland.

I'd love to see more stuff with these three, or Dawn French and Stephen together.
Stephen looks like a teen-boy, lol! cute!
Miss French...the baby Jesus heard eeeevry word you said maddam.
R.I.P. Sir Terry. I never understood why the interview seating area had their view of the stage blocked.
Possibly the most British video ever
Had Terry Wogan not been Irish, sure.
I saw Wogan last week as a guest on the Paul O'Grady Show's Children In Need special. Wogan's a great broadcaster.
I knew Hugh and Stephen were tall, but didn't know Dawn was so short.
It looks a bit like parent's evening.

Stephen has the most dreamy eyes.
1987... wow!
I wonder if the beer is Shepherd's Neame's "Late Red"?
"mmm it's horrible isn't it?" haha luv dawn french =)
I just saw an episode of Girls On Top where Hugh Laurie was a guest star and Dawn had a crush on him. It was hilarious!! Dawn act licked his face! 😂
How old is Stephen Fry in this?
Mr Fry also worked as Narrator for 4 games of Harry Potter and also continued for audio books 5-7 as a narrator
@samsooni7 Yeah, and Dawn French is there too!

When was this?

@brooksie19 At around 3.59 they mention the "new year" 1988.
Stephen Fry looks like the Head Boy. Terry was a wonderful interviewer and disc jockey.
Wait - was this promo for the first Red Nose Day?
The reason that the cherry tomato didn’t stick on Stephen’s nose is that said appendage may have been rather... erm... “powdery”.
Blimey this is old, I was born end of that year, and it looks so old🤦♀️ those red noses actually hurt, I seem to remember those ones in the early 90s not the most comfortable!
86 finished with a bang ... not 87 ... didnt it :S
Stephen seems to be high :)

Dawn French has probably been amusing for 2% of her entire career. The rest is just painful chaff.
