We have 6 rounds of randomized starters but are able to reduce 1 stat of our opponents pokemon to zero! After we each have 6 pokemon, we battle each other!

Hey Dylan, thought of a cool video idea for you
1. Look at your starters but don't reveal them to each other
2. Choose 1 stat from each of the 6 pokemon without knowing what your opponent is looking at to add to either a pokemon on your screen or a random one from your opponents screen to build a team

@tbone6032 They COULD do it but at the end of the day it's not worth it because it would be INCREDIBLY hard to link up schedules due to basically all of those people being super busy both in their work and personal lives and at the end of it they will have a video that will likely perform worse than a regular then we fight because although their loyal fans would love a draft league they do not perform as well as mass produced then we fights. Remember a lot of these people are parents or recently married or ridiculously busy.
I think you'd need to swap Rich with someone if it's going to be a league thing, since those are usually more competitive. I like Rich's personality, but he needs a training arc or something cause he would just be there to give someone a free win. 😂
Maybe have Matt instead, he's usually not in too many videos, but is really good.

I think it’d be neat to do one of these challenges where the gimmick is that you swap the highest and lowest stats for a Pokemon. So Flareon for example would go from 60 Defense and 130 Attack to 130 Defense and 60 Attack. Basically force you to have to use the Pokemon in a totally different way than you would normally.

A fun twist to run this back could be when your opponent picks a stat to drop, you counterattack by picking a different stat to maximize to 255.

Hey Dylan, long time viewer. Shady missing thunder wave is very common, but when shady was asking for magnezone to miss, he can’t! Thunder wave was changed to act like toxic in later gens (electric types using it bypass accuracy checks) thanks for a great video!

I suggest u can improve this video idea by making it like:-
You select your starter and make a stat 0 but you keep the base stat of that Pokemon same
Meaning that you can use those hindered stats to make other stats better
Example if you make jirachi SP attack 0 then you can use the 100 points of his health on making its other stats better
This way shady can hinder your Pokemon and then you also get a role to maybe make him better than before
A wise man once said "if it's not 100% accurate, it's 50% accurate"
We reduced 1 stat to 1, but added the removed value onto another stat. Stats on a lockout too so you have to reduce each one once but can only raise each one once. Your opp does not know which one you increased. You cannot increase the same stat as was reduced.
So a Magnezone would go down to 1 Sp. Att, but you could have bumped him to 199 Att.
Gyro Ball, Hard Press become great games of predicting which of your opps pokemon have increased Speed and HP. Supercell Slam is suddenly intriguing.

Woah ... That last battle was just a reminder as to why I prefer Mutli Battles with friends because if I were to fight my friends I'd be Shady with that luck
Resisting the urge to not be that one 'Uhm akchully' guy but, with 0hp stat, the Pokémon would faint on switch in.
I really liked this idea. Maybe next time you take what their stat was normally, say 125 SP Atk, you make that Zero but add it to another stat, so all of the sudden it could have max attack

It still blows my mind to hear that Incineroar is considered one of the best Pokemon in competitive history, especially considering how often you hear speed/priority is used.
Like, I genuinely don’t believe it can be that good, even though I’ve used it casually.
If I can make a suggestion for a future one of these videos, each round you pick a stat to max out and then your opponent picks a stat to reduce to zero. Can only pick each stat once obviously for raising and lowering but I can imagine a few cruel counter picks.

The fact that Dylan didn't just do eviolite magneton after Shady made Sp Atk 0 then built Magnezone with a set that Magneton would benefit from is crazy.

For best out of 3 you guys should either make it the 2nd round is a double battle (like shady did with luke) or you select 8 starters and you can pick each round which of the 6 you bring in or 2 pokemons are allowed to change 1 move per round. That way if it reaches round 3 there is still something you have to figure out and the plays/strategies aren’t as obvious

I've heard of a format similar to your rules on showdown, but it was different enough to make into a video if you like it. First off, each of you pick only 1 legendary to have on your team. Each of the other members on the team will share 1 of each stat with that legendary. For example, you put Mewtwo on your team. You can give one pokemon the same att stat as Mewtwo, another mon the same speed as Mewtwo, another the same HP stat as Mewtwo, and so on. Make a team of 6 an then battle.
Just a little tip shady, I think ho-oh had brave bird, which I believe would have killed the yveltal instead of sacred fire, plus seeing how bad your luck is sacred fire could have missed lmao 🤣

Like, once your opponent has burned their option to reduce attack to 0, a ratatta with quick attack becomes a top tier pick because it instantly hard counters two pokemon.
