I made a double batch and substituted pecans for hazelnuts and they came out fantastic - oh I added 2 minutes - baked 22 minutes to get them a little more browned and crispy when cooled. A great healthier substitute for unhealthy m&m trailmix that my husband likes…. Thank you for your amazing channel!

Hello Maria, yes you can use shredded coconut and it’s fine if you use melted coconut oil. You will chill the dough so using melted oil would be fine.❤️

Hello! It’s actually normal. As shown in the video my parchment paper was like a mess because of all the oil from the cookies but don’t worry it will all be absorbed by the cookies once it cools down.❤️🥰

Oh this looks lovely. I think I would use almond slivers instead because it looks like that would taste very similar to an almond joy.
I like that this recipe can be altered for different mix ins. I'm thinking about macadamia nut and pilli nuts.

ALLULOSE!! just know it’s about 70% as sweet as regular sugar so you may need to add a little extra by volume, depending on your sweet tooth
