Brilliant editing here. I remember when I first saw the two separate shower scenes and when I saw Kevin was using the recording, I was like, "Oh yeah, I know what's coming." This is like a plot twist scene where it's an alternate timeline where the family ends up in New York and Kevin ends up in Florida.

That is why their was world peace back in the day everyone that watched movie wanted a Talk Boy For Christmas everyone was so happy to wait for Christmas to get a cool Talk Boy in the world we need to think about world peace not picking on your Home Town Heos back home you know what I am saying

But the look on his face when he's creeping to the bathroom,does raise the question if he was indeed "funny" and trying to catch a glimpse of a naked man.
