I have many questions that I need to ask if you don't mind it. May I know what size of wheels and tires you used for this rally car? What brand of wheels did you get back then? Did those wheels still have 4 lugs, or did you replace the layout hub from 4 lug to 5 lug, or did you use an adapter from 4 lug to 5 lug? Also, I wonder what Engine did you use, 4A-GE, right? and T50 Transmission Gearbox too?
@@Gamundi08 The size is 225/45/r13 , the tires are pirelli corsa for rally Historic events, the brand of the wheels is Starmac (made in England) and the car has it's original 4 lugs system. No adapters. It is a historic car with FIA HTP . The engine is a tuned 2tg and the gearbox is the T50 , custom gears and gear ratio is by omologasion.
@@kostasmilonas3206 Do you think it is necessary to install coil springs on the rear wheels instead of the OEM leaf springs? I am just wondering about it. Of course, I would like to hear more if you think that leaf springs are still good for that vehicle. 😄
@@Gamundi08 Coil springs are always better than leaf springs. It is forbidden by Historic category to put coil springs on this car. If you don't have problem with that, it's better going on coil springs. But need to do it well.
@@Gamundi08 I had the car for many years!! Lot of rallies and nice moments. I wanted something else and i couldn't have two rallycars. Now i have a Corolla AE92 gravel spec and later tarmac spec. The KE30 Corolla is in good hands!! The people who bought it are great guys! I am glad for them and my lovely car!! 🏁🏁
