Jeff was just a little geeky kid of 12 when he watched back to the future for the first time. Never in his wildest dreams did he think he would ever own a car from the movie, so when the opportunity arose, Jeff jumped on one of the most important movie cars ever made.
This will soon be going up for auction and may actually be one of the most affordable screen used cars from BTTF so keep an eye out.

If the point is to return it to the same condition it was in when it was a prop car he did a great job. Having it run to be able to move it around is just bonus.

Jurassic park has a special place in my heart because that was the first movie I saw in a theater but Back to the Future is my all time favorite. I can watch it non stop it never gets old. I don't even understand why because its not really a "car movie".

Me too. I’m going to have to watch that movie again and pay really close attention to the cars. I went to Universal Studios in 1994 and the team went by some of the “2015” cars from BTTF 2. I could tell one was a Ford Probe.

Love the film work you do and like the fact you're finding these cars. Hope you can film Marty's 1985 Toyota 4x4 before the 21st this month. Someone found the original film used truck and supposedly the guys at 22reperformance.com built the engine for that restored truck. Keep up the good work :)

I am SO happy this video exists. I always loved Grif's BMW over any other car in the BTTF franchise. I would be honored to own this car own day and if not, I LAN on building a replica because they need to exist as much as DeLorean time machines and Toyota SR5 pickups.

Ok keeping the outside looking that way is fine, but fix the damn engine, trans, suspension. I owned one of these (79 gray market 633csi) and half my frame was rust and bondo and it at least ran correctly. The german writing all over everything made it fun to figure out what the hell something did sometimes.

Bmw was not a bad car choice for a scifi film back then. Their styling hasn’t changed much.

Am I the only one that noticed it's a euro spec 6 series but they left an English speedo, U.S. Headlights, and added on rear side reflectors on the car? If your going to restore it at least put it back in its original euro spec state except for the mods made for the movie.

i fucking hate how none of these movie cars actually drive. growing up or at least when was younger i obsessed over these cars but when you grown up and get into cars its good to at least know someone who knows someone who can get a car running good. there are deloreans with ls engines and volkswagons with subaru engines. a driving movie car or stock delorean beats a pos set car any day. this guy needs to move past being the movie car guy and just become a bmw guy. learn to fix your shitbox

I absolutely hate what the did as far as styling for this car. Its probably the only car that didnt fit in the film. Even as a kid I looked at the car and immediately said NO! The hood scoop killed me cause I grew up at the dragstrip. Its basically a glorified ricer from the 80s
