What a great tutorial! I'm a beginner knitter and found it really easy to follow. Knitting in the round always looked so complicated but I'm going to look up your pattern and brave my first attempt. Thanks for sharing x
Your tutorial is very easy to follow and very helpful. Thank you so much .!!!Now I can bind off ! My first time using circular needles and no clue how to bind off .Making a kerchief scarf and just kept going cause I dont know how to stop .lol I can stop now .😊
Thank u so much for this! I had this project stuck on my circular needles since last year and was scared to try cast off because I was scared I would do it wrong and ruin all my hard work. Your explanation made it so easy to understand and I finally finished it!! I'm so happy I'm done with it's still cold and I can wear the scarf.
@L_LIN Hi, i was watching your "bind off in the round" youtube video. i am makeing a very short neck warmer w/circular needles (i am a beginner) and when i bound off my neck warmer and tried to pull it over my head i could not. the bind off stitches do not stretch wide like my "cast on" stitches. my Q: how do i bind off so the stitches are stretchy? do i just make the bind off stitches very loose? thanks
Hello There, I Have A Question To Ask You Here's My Question, How Many Sitches Did You Use To Make That Cowl Scarf That You Have Is This Video, On A Knitting Needle?
Sorry for the late reply as I've been taking a break from my channel. I will answer this despite it being suuuper late - in case anyone else reading has the same question. It really depends on the pattern but most of the time you will bind off in pattern which means you will knit your knit stitches and purl your purl stitches. That way it will make the bind off a little neater and less obvious. Hope this makes sense!
If you use 32" circular needles to knit a pattern calling for 24" needles, it may be very hard as the # of stitches will be very spread out. It all depends on the particular pattern, though! Sorry for the late reply : ( I still wanted to answer in case someone else has a similar question!
+Alexis Bostick I got these needles a few years ago and I think they are from AC Moore. I believe they are Susan Bates Silvalume needles but don't quote me on that =P I threw away the packaging long ago. Hope this helps a bit!
i tried for about 30mins to "tweet" you but i do not know how to "send" my tweet??? ugh... i kept touching the "tweet" button but nothing was happening...

I am curious as to the answer, as well.
You need a stretching bind off.

Is this a stretchy bind off?
Do you still knit all bind off stitches even when there is purl in the pattern?

what can I use if I don’t have a crochet hook?
Thanks sooo very much
You're welcome!
Also, could this be knitted on 32" circular needles? I know the pattern stated 24" but I only have the larger ones. Thanks in advance :-)

How did you connect the chunky yarn with out a gap?
i found out why i could not send my tweet!! it was too long...
I was wondering, when working with circular needles, is it possible to drawstring castoff?
+Bubileaf Yes you can still do a drawstring bind off :) just use a tapestry needle so it's easier to get through those loops :)
+purllinknitting Thank you for replying:)
Where did you buys these needles ?
