It's so badass that you did it on an iPad mini! I work on an iPad Air. This video should give hope for some artists on being able to access an iPad (as low as $399 USD, $329 for base iPad model), ProCreate ($9.99 USD), and an Apple Pencil ($99 USD) for a more affordable price. From a tech perspective, I recommend getting any of the non-iPads released in early 2019 (with the A12 Bionic chips; base iPad uses the older A10) if you want to save a chunk of change.

Everyone talks about the 120 HZ but truth is, most things you’ve used have 60 hz or even less, so if you didn’t have one with 120 hz, you won’t even notice anything
I choose the base air instead of 128 GB base iPad, because of the bigger, laminated screen
I can also only recommend it, I love it more than anything
