I've been keeping track of Diana since her performance on The Voice Kids Russia in 2017 when she was 13 years old. She's really a talented young lady with a DEEP register. She's VERY popular on RUclips, her channel has 1.49 million subs. Her performance of" Can't help Falling In Love " was impressive! she had serious injuries broken clavicle, bruises around the neck area at 3 years old when they found her alone in the street. my estimater is that it had affected the growth pattern in such a way that she has polyphonic capacity. its evident when she talk and most in words ending in En Ed, ong, ing, and similar endings. she has made the Best use of it for sure. her sound is captivating. she has new songs where effects are placed on that and it makes the effects incredible.

She was 14 years old on February 10 2018 during her first appearance on a talent show for disadvantaged young teen’s called “You Are Super” where she first performed “Dernière Danse”, and you can see that competition performance here: ruclips.net/video/qSBXNJmdif8/видео.html. Also, what you are watching in this video is a solo concert performance that happened sometime between Diana winning the 2018 season of the “You Are Super” competition and the 2019 season of “You are Super”, which was called the Super Season because the winners and first runner’s up of previous competitions were invited back to compete against each other. This song was originally sung by the French performer Adila Sedraïa, better known just as Indila, and Diana sings this cover in the original French. Soon thereafter the word spread and other reactors along with reactors that again, are real vocal professionals, along with professional sound and recording engineers also started paying attention, and reacted to Diana Ankudinova. Some professional’s were even starting to suggest, based on her vocal range measurement the previous year and her present vocal timbre, she could be a true contralto voice in the making. I’m very glad to see another first-time reaction to Diana on a vocal coach’s channel. You were correct, that is her natural voice and depth. It’s said she is a legit Dramatic Contralto, as well as polyphonic. I know I’ve never heard another tone like hers before. A chance view of a YT short late last year highlighted a belted section of another astounding cover, and her singular voice floored me. I’ve been a massive fan ever since.
You most assuredly need to give an Ear to "The Day You", In My Huge City, and Paul's Dream the theme from the Original Dune Movie, Di is indescribable, she pulls off a D-6 in The Day, fully owned, the girl is untouchable. This was some time ago, what she has morphed into today is just wild. And yes Di's Speech Timbre is the same as her singing voice.

Tara just to let you know there are three things you need to know about Diana. First thing is that as a child she had speech impediment and her adoptive mother paid for her to have signing lessons. Second thing is that there's a video that mentioned of Dimash signing with Diana Ankudinova. Third thing is this famous song sang by Elvis Presley who someone ask you to react which is Can't help falling in Love because she made it so unique. I've been keeping track of Diana since her performance on The Voice Kids Russia in 2017 when she was 13 years old. She's really a talented young lady with a DEEP register. She's VERY popular on RUclips, her channel has 1.49 million subs. Her performance of" Can't help Falling In Love " was impressive! She has come from an abusive childhood living in a far east Russian orphanage to a real star in Russia and on RUclips. She's a very humble girl, I thank the women that rescued her and showed her love.

I watched a 1 hour English subbed titled interview she did on a Russian radio station. Diana is smart, funny, very humble and kind hearted young women. I love this girl, her voice is completely mesmerizing. I have been totally captivated by her since I first heard her and the effect never wears off. A true generational talent beyond comparison. She has so many sounds and genres that she completely makes new and amazing. She's #1 in my book. She has total control over the various tones she creates and there are many she can produce. The more you listen to her the more you realize that her ability to generate her tones and overtones are unique to her vocal particular instrument.

she had serious injuries broken clavicle, bruises around the neck area at 3 years old when they found her alone in the street. my estimater is that it had affected the growth pattern in such a way that she has polyphonic capacity. its evident when she talk and most in words ending in En Ed, ong, ing, and similar endings. she has made the Best use of it for sure. her sound is captivating. she has new songs where effects are placed on that and it makes the effects incredible.

Tara, sorry for the length of this post. First a little about Diana Ankudinova. Diana was born on May 31, 2003 and will be 21 on May 31, 2024. She was 14 years old on February 10 2018 during her first appearance on a talent show for disadvantaged young teen’s called “You Are Super” where she first performed “Dernière Danse”, and you can see that competition performance here: ruclips.net/video/qSBXNJmdif8/видео.html. This “You Are Super” version of “Dernière Danse”, was an abbreviated version to fit into the time constraints of the competition. Also, what you are watching in this video is a solo concert performance that happened sometime between Diana winning the 2018 season of the “You Are Super” competition and the 2019 season of “You are Super”, which was called the Super Season because the winners and first runner’s up of previous competitions were invited back to compete against each other.
This song was originally sung by the French performer Adila Sedraïa, better known just as Indila, and Diana sings this cover in the original French.
During the 2018 “You are Super” competition, when Diana first sang her cover of “Dernière Danse”, her voice, for a 14 year old was described as truly unique, with a deep, resonant and mature sound, and is an instrument with a timbre and colors that are hard to describe.
In the previous year, 2017, at age 13, her vocal range was measured from a low of D3 (a solid Alto), to a high of A5, (again a solid Alto), which was very low for a 13 year old girl. The best performance of “Dernière Danse”, in my opinion is the Good Wave Festival version which was a concert performance, not a competition. Now back to the 2018 “Dernière Danse” version during the “You Are Super” competition. For a girl of 14 to have this kind of voice, with this kind of a sound, plus her level of musicality, vocal control, and stage presence is truly amazing and many have said that this was not the voice of a regular 14 year old girl. This was a sound that was well beyond her years! Some have voiced an opinion that Diana looked a little scared, frightened even, or a little intimidated prior to her “You Are Super” performance, which would be understandable for someone so young to experience some degree of “stage fright” in the high pressure environment of a vocal competition. In truth, Diana Ankudinova was not scared, at all. She was taking a few moments to assume and fall into the character in this song, (this “assuming” the character can be seen in this version of “Dernière Danse”). You can see by the look on her face, after a few seconds, she there, she has slipped into and assumed the character in this song. So, Diana is not just sing a song, she is communicating with the audience. Diana is transmitting the feelings, thoughts and emotions of this character to the audience. Diana Ankudinova was not afraid at all, and she is defiantly not intimidated, she is fearless on stage and is a true stage animal. Diana Ankudinova was born to be on stage.
I don’t know the who, where or when a reactor started reacting to Diana Ankudinova, but it must have piqued the interest of some real vocal professional’s because they also started listening to, and reacting to RUclips videos of Diana, and they commented on the quality of her voice. Soon thereafter the word spread and other reactors along with reactors that again, are real vocal professionals, along with professional sound and recording engineers also started paying attention, and reacted to Diana Ankudinova. Some professional’s were even starting to suggest, based on her vocal range measurement the previous year and her present vocal timbre, she could be a true contralto voice in the making.
If you want to listen to an even younger Diana Ankudinova, listen to her cover version of “Oh Darling” by the Beatles, when she was only 10 years old and you can hear, and even see, at 10 years old her stage. She is at an early stage with her deep sound, which it’s impressive!

I’m very glad to see another first-time reaction to Diana on a vocal coach’s channel. You were correct, that is her natural voice and depth. It’s said she is a legit Dramatic Contralto, as well as polyphonic. I know I’ve never heard another tone like hers before. A chance view of a YT short late last year highlighted a belted section of another astounding cover, and her singular voice floored me. I’ve been a massive fan ever since.
You most assuredly need to give an Ear to "The Day You", In My Huge City, and Paul's Dream the theme from the Original Dune Movie, Di is indescribable, she pulls off a D-6 in The Day, fully owned, the girl is untouchable.
This was some time ago, what she has morphed into today is just wild.
And yes Di's Speech Timbre is the same as her singing voice.

Diana uses a lot of Arabic inspired, melodies in her singing. She also has quite a lot of agility, not as much as Faouzia, but she’s not a slouch. Her registral transitions are awesome.
