Elphaba saying “You have no real power” is an extraordinary bit of acting. The feeling, the emotion, it’s like finding out your god is actually human. Powerful and accusatory. Damn I can’t wait for this movie!

I was super apprehensive about this adaptation, and the teaser trailer did little to quell them. However, this official trailer has done just that. The acting, the production values, the music - ALL of it is on point! As a huge fan of both the novel and the musical, I am particularly excited to see what book elements they incorporate into the movie.
