the behind the scenes featurette made all my doubts disappear. to see how passionate the cast and crew is brings me so much joy. as a childhood fan of wicked, a fan of arianas work and an admirer of Cynthia's talent and the directors work - this feels like all my favorite things colliding. its like a gift. i cannot wait! and two parts!
Same that made me cry it they all care so deeply about Wicked and each other. They understand the responsibility of delivering a movie this special

You are not. I watched a reactor just today who wept through the whole thing. That is what makes a movie GOOD....when it makes you FEEL something for it. Its not just RAH RAH GIRL POWER nonsense. She clearly has pain and cracks and she is trying to find her power.
Hearing the opening score for the trailer, be no one mourns the wicked made me scream
I really hope people behave themselves and don't treat the movie as a karaoke

My friend just asked me today if we were dressing up to go see this. Hell yes
SO MUCH BETTER than that RIDICULOUS story in Oz the Great and Powerful. I like the costuming and makeup for this Elphaba MUCH better. THIS is great and powerful. THIS gave us all the chills. If they do not nominate this movie for EVERYTHING....ESPECIALLY best actress and best picture in both the Golden Globes AND the Oscars...they have absolutely NO TASTE in what a GODD musical is. I DARE them not to and I haven't even SEEN the bloody movie yet. It is RARE that a trailer is this good nowadays.
I hope this movie is 2 hours and 59 mins and I hope part 2 is just the same! Lol with a ton of deleted scenes

The musical is based on the novel "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire. Then, it got developed into a musical-meanwhile he released a sequel called "Son of a Witch". So, there is a potential for this to be a franchise, cover the broadway musical, but then do something like "Greatest Showman" and just release movie musicals as sequels. All based on the books.
