This movie took 4 years to make yes I'm doing my research on it looking at interviews with the cast and crew getting their imput on everything Lion king related they put in 4 years of hard in work for us I'd advise ppl to to look at the interviews look at all the interviews before you just jump right to the trailer that way you will have a better understanding of why they went in the direction that they did

I grew up on the Lion king watched it everyday came out the same year i was born so I always w,dered what was Mufasa's and Scars backstory growing up but we never got it now we have a chance in 2024 to know what happened when they were lil cubs before Simba was even thought of so we should take advantage and go see this .movie on Dec 20th ,inead of criticizing it before its even released

Dead Reckoning and the first Mi were my two favorites. I think this might be old Tommy boy's last and think he's going to go extra hard on all the stunts. Plus Hayley Atwell's the hottest thing since sliced bread so I'm definitely 110% on board with this movie.

I feel like the only reason they would show us red hulk in the trailer, is because they have more surprises in the movie. I really hope that’s the case. If that’s not the case, then they should’ve waited to reveal him in the movie.

I think they were smart not marketing a part 1 and 2 because come people would say nahh I’ll watch it when both are out. Plus part 1 can essentially be a standalone. It will have a satisfying resolution, but obviously there’s more to the unravel in part 2, but I don’t think people will be mad at it.

Please don’t f’n sing along, I beg you. It’s so cringe. This isn’t about you. People go to be immersed in the story, not to hear some random person next to them ruining the experience. That said, I hope some cinemas have singalong showings. An entire theater room filled with people who expect to come and sing and have fun with each other is a whole other experience that I’m sure many would appreciate.

theyre not marketing it as wicked part 1 because #1 they're expanding the first part to a satisfactory "ending". the main criticism of the original show was how underdeveloped every relationship was. plus theres a significant time jump. and #2, people are less likely to see something titled part 1 . theyd rather wait.

Regarding part 1 and part 2, I can see both sides! Personally, I don’t think it’s necessary. Those of us who are fans of the stage musical and have been following along closely know that it will be two parts. Those who don’t, I think they’ll be satisfied. Act 1 is a pretty complete story in itself. I feel like this is being marketed more as Wicked the movie, and then there will be a sequel (which we will know is act 2). I kind of like this take because it just amplifies the fact that they are really adapting this film into its own version of wicked. It will also offer some separation between the film and the stage production and hopefully manage people’s expectations enough to embrace the changes and new elements that they are bringing to the story! This movie is going to carry us away (and not just by balloon!) 🤍

I worked on the set of this film, and to me the things that you are worried about are beyond insane. There were MANY announcements that two films were shot and the titles were Wicked and Wicked: Part Two. When the release date for THIS FILM was announced, so was the release date for Part Two. They have not used one iota of footage from the 2nd film in any of these trailers, and they will continue to avoid that footage. It is GENUINELY exhausting to live in a world where everyone needs to be CONSTANTLY reminded of a very basic fact. Secondly, If you are going to a theater and are planning on “singing along” the first time you see this film the you AREN’T WATCHING OR LISTENING TO THIS FILM. When you sing, all you can hear is…YOU. I strongly suggest the first time you watch, that you actually WATCH THE FILM. I can guarantee that NOBODY wants to hear anyone other than the cast- so if you plan to sing, stay home.

Arcane was always supposed to have 2 seasons. That's the story creators wanted to tell from the beginning. First season took 6 years to produce, so 3 years for second season is completely fine, considering the quality of the show. Oh, and btw, Netflix is just a distributor, nothing more. Arcane was entirely produced by Riot Games and French animation studio Fortiche. Also, showrunner of Arcane recently confirmed that they are already working on other projects in the world of League of Legends. Piltover and Zaun are just a small fraction of the massive world, that's called Runeterra, and some other places are infinitely more interesting. I think the next show will explore region of Noxus, since it already has been introduced in Arcane, but maybe they will move to an entirely different region, we'll see.

i honestly think they are going to Wicked.... then do something like Wizard of Oz for the next title. cause the second part of the film is about dorthy as the main hero but also mainly about alphaba

The international trailer #2 is SO different with a bunch of new shots and a focus on the animal rights storyline. You should definitely watch it!

Loved the homages to the original film here. You can hear the original wicked witch’s theme from the wizard of oz, and the clip of the lion cub peaking out of the basket is reminiscent of Toto doing the same on the back of Ms. Gulch’s bicycle!

Dune wasn't called Dune Part 1, and it did fine. Don't worry about it. I agree about the singing in the theaters though! It's why I don't go Broadway. The audiences are hysterical and just woop and scream all the way through the shows. It's so annoying!

I dont really think anyone is going to be angry as the story of act 1 ends pretty satisfyingly with defying gravity and works as a wizard of oz prequel by itself. Part two would be advertised as the wizard of oz through a different point of view and a sequel to wicked
